My husband Dan and I are childhood sweethearts from Rockdale, Texas, and Baylor University graduates. I love creating welcoming spaces for our guests and am very hands-on with decorating, gardening, and caring for the homes.

Scurlock Farms is a true family affair. Our sons and extended family contribute to the farm’s beauty and creativity, from gardening to handmade ceramics. We enjoy meeting guests during tours, tractor rides, or simply crossing paths on the property, while always respecting privacy.

Rocky Overlook is a rare Texas Hill Country farm stay offering history, privacy, and natural beauty on a working family farm. This historic home was once the residence and studio of Texas landscape artist C. P. Montague, and her artistic legacy remains throughout the property. Guests will find framed prints of her artwork, original architectural details, and a sense of place that reflects both creativity and craftsmanship.
