Splendid 3 bedroom home with pool within easy walking distance of Vaison la Romaine - just a 10 minute walk to town and 15 minutes to the Roman bridge and old town. We regularly walked into town for lunch, dinner or just an evening drink. The Tuesday market is also not to be missed. Very nice pool with great poolside furniture. The house is well equipped and even though it is surrounded by other houses, it is still secluded and quiet. Al-in-all a great choice and location.

Two weeks in Vaison

Generally speaking the property was good but there were some unsatisfactory features. Firstly there were no english instructions for using things like washing machine dishwasher and oven. The distance from the town was more than we expected and certainly not easily walkable. Overall the facilities were good but one bed had a nylon flanalette sheet which was unacceptable. The downstairs bathroom was nice but the vanity unit was too large making access to the shower difficult particullarly for the more elderly like us. The pool was superb and well maintained.

Lovely house

The property met our expectations and we had a lovely stay. The house is within walking distance of the town which meant we didn’t have to drive every day. The market on Tuesday was fantastic as was the Roman sites and museum. The pool was very welcome on hot days. A couple of feedback points- Although there are lots of brochures left at the property, there was no information from the property owners about local recommendations. It’s a small thing but would have made a nice touch. Also, the checkout time stated in the information email was 10.30am. The day we left, the neighbour and cleaner arrived at 10. Luckily we were pretty much ready to go but felt a bit rushed as we departed. I would still highly recommend this property despite the feedback points and would happily visit again 🙂

Sunny spot by a lovely town

We very much enjoyed our week in this lovely spot in Vaison la Romaine! The house lived up to it's description on the website and offered a quiet, sunny spot close to a lovely little town with good restaurants, ice cream shops, groceries and medical help if needed. It is an easy to walk to town in about 10-15 minutes along a smaller road with marked space for pedestrians, although not all cars go the speed limit. (see it on Google Maps) Our two kids (11 and 14) very much enjoyed the pool which was big enough to play around in. It would have been nice with a few more pool beds to lounge around in as the kids also used them. On the slightly less positive side it was a bit hard to communicate with the neighbor who let us into the house, as she only speaks French. We also missed an overview of some sort to give us information about what to see the area, good restaurants, where to put the trash etc. And due to the hot weather it would have been lovely to have air conditioning in the bedrooms. All in all, we definitely recommend this house and would love to come back for more holiday fun some time in the future!

Maison très accueillante avec tout ce qu'il faut pour profiter de son séjour. Extérieur très agréable avec la piscine, la cuisine de jardin et un espace repas abrité. Nous avons pu profiter des choralies à pied!

Leuk verblijf, dicht tegen een stadje meerder eetgelegenheden.

Aanraders voor de eigenaars: - voorzie een ventilator per slaapkamer - een parasol voor ontbijttafel buiten, deze hebben we een week laten meebrengen. Pluspunten -goede bedden -zwembad dat regelmatig gecontroleerd wordt -huisje met nette sanitaire en onderhouden keuken (ijskast koelt wel niet meer optimaal) maar koelkast aan buitenkeuken en zwembad is ok! Een zeer goed huisje dat mijn vakantie compleet maakte.

Excellent séjour à Vaison-la-Romaine

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine (2 adultes + 2 ados). La maison est très bien équipée et magnifiquement décorée. La piscine et sa terrasse sont parfaites pour se relaxer. Le quartier est très calme. Le centre de Vaison-la-Romaine est facilement accessible à pied (10 min). Grand merci à Olivier (et sa soeur) pour la communication simple et rapide. Nous sommes vraiment très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Perfekte Ferien

Ein erholsamer Aufenthalt in einem sehr gepflegten Ambiente ging nach zwei Wochen leider zu Ende. Die Villa -in einem schönen Wohngebiet gelegen- bietet alles,was für einen perfekten Urlaub von drei Generationen unter einem Dach erforderlich ist: voll ausgestattete Küche, gemütlicher Wohn-Ess-Bereich, separate Schlafbereiche für Großeltern (im OG ), Eltern und Kinder (im EG ). Mittelpunkt war die Terrasse mit direktem Zugang zur Küche und zum Wohnbereich. Der sehr gepflegte Pool seitlich vom Haus war angesichts der hochsommerlichen Temperaturen beliebter Aufenthaltsort für für die Kinder. Die relative Nähe des Hauses zur Ortsmitte von Vaison war sowohl für die Versorgung als auch für abendliche Spaziergänge komfortabel. Die ganze Familie hat den Aufenthalt im Hause Fremont/Francais genossen und denkt bereits jetzt an eine Wiederhohlung im Jahr 2024 nach.

Très Bon emplacement mais pas d airco

Maison agréable mais sans airco, l étage a été rafraîchi, top salle de bain wc séparé , accueil top Très Bonne situation pour visiter la région( nous avions des vélos) Piscine/terrasse très agréable et bar avec frigo , top Cuisine bien équipée Meubles de jardins et parasols un peu limite Quartier résidentiel , donc très calme , nous étions 4 adultes de 60 ans et un voisin ( à l arrière ) vraiment désagréable et pourtant nous n étions pas souvent là Je déconseille à des familles avec enfants qui crient tout le temps en jouant dans la piscine J imagine si nous avions été 6 comme la maison le permet! Malgré l airco et ce voisin arrière rageux , très belle semaine dans cette maison

Concernant la climatisation, comme vous l avez constaté en retenant notre bien , nous n en disposons pas, de ce fait vous étiez parfaitement informés de cela lors de votre réservation. Concernant notre voisinage, c est la première fois que nous avons des locataires qui s en plaignent, après plus de 10 ans de location! Peut être l approche ne fut pas des plus excellentes !! Merci de vos conseils, il est heureux que plus de 10 ans de locations et de commentaires ne soient pas réduits au votre qui dans ce cas est parfaitement inexact ! Peut être serait il bon de vous montrer certains éléments après votre passage ! Cordialement.

Quartier très calme. Belle région, bons produits, bons vins. Maison charmante, bien équipée. Grill à charbon. Chauffage piscine en défaut mais baignade sans problème vu la température extérieure. Quelques moustiques (18h-20h). Vélo pertinent pour boulangerie....

Tolles Haus in toller Lage

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Sehr schöne und ruhige Umgebung und der Pool ist einfach traumhaft. Rundum eine sehr schöne Location. Unkomplizierter check in. Wir kommen gerne wieder,da wir uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette belle maison, pas loin du centre, au calme. Nous avons profité de la piscine chauffée. La maison est très confortable et bien équipée. Et la région est juste magnifique

Superbe maison

Séjour idéal en famille la maison est conforme à l'annonce, spacieuse, calme bien située à 15 mn à pied de vaison la romaine, la piscine es chauffée un vrai plus. De plus Olivier est très attentif au bien-être de ses locataires, échanges cordiaux et efficaces. Je recommande cette location.

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour dans cette agréable maison, bien que nous n'ayons rencontré Francis, nous avons bien échangé sur les différentes commodités de la maison et Yolande la voisine, qui nous a accueilli, est très sympathique et très discrète. Un petit petit bémol, pas assez de vaisselle à disposition, 11 grandes assiettes, 12 couteaux et fourchettes pour 6 personnes. Il est vrai qu'il n'y a pas trop de place autour de la piscine mais 2 transats à disposition pour 6 adultes c'est également un peu léger. Malgré ces 2 points négatifs nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
