Luxury apartment of about 50 m2 in a 'building of character' with a private terrace, completely renovated with taste.
It is located on the second floor with elevator of a building of four floors, access is secured by a double door with code and badge. Very bright, it has all the modern comforts. Unlimited Wi-Fi and phone calls to USA, Canada and several European countries offered.
In absolute calm, it enjoys an ideal location close to the Place de la Madeleine and its market that takes place every other day. (spices, food, decor, clothes, etc.) and the course Mirabeau to live on foot the life of a Aix while having the benefit (optional) of a secure private parking covered and closed near the building .

Great location in Aix en Provence

Very nice property located in the old town of Aix en Provence and within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and markets. Very nice owners are welcoming and helpful.

Gorgeous Aix!

Lovely stay at this ideally located apartment with a perfect north facing balcony which could be used for every meal! Everything necessary for a short or a long stay. Definitely hope to stay again....

Perfect location in Aix

This was my second visit to this apartment - perfect for my needs and has everything for either a short or a long stay. The balcony is ideal, there is a dyson fan in the bedroom for the warmer nights and the location is the best! Delightful host - a pleasure to get to know. I certainly hope to stay again!

Location!! Quiet!! Clean!!!

We spent two weeks here while studying French at IS. This apartment was well furnished, comfortable, has secure parking, is so close to Cour Miribeau and old town, and my favorite is the cool and quiet summer patio! We studied and ate all meals there. Don't let the security deposit turn you away! They are just very proud of this beautiful apartment.

I would like to point out that it is the French law and more specifically the tourism code that establishes an inventory, a condition report and a security deposit. The security deposit is related to the value of the goods (sofa, table, etc.) and is returned to you when you checkout if nothing is damaged.

Owner is dishonest

Dirty. Not as advertised.All pots,pans,glasses,dishes, silverware had to be washed before use.Oven very greasy. Floors dirty. VRBO write up states parking in building;not true. Actually,15 minute uphill walk to frightening building.Owner dishonestly charged us the cost of replacing HDMI cable; a problem we did not cause. The cable was old and worn out. Conclusion: do not rent this apartment.

Cher monsieur, Nous avons appris un vendredi soir de la fin août que vous aviez arraché un câble. Nous avons fait au plus vite pour le remplacer avec l'aide d'un électricien. La télé fonctionnait à nouveau dès le mardi matin suivant. Vous n'avez pas désiré nous indemniser. En dépit du RV que nous nous étions fixés pour le checkout, vous êtes partis sans nous prévenir et n'avez pas répondu aux différents messages que nous vous avons alors envoyés. Je suis désolé d'une si mauvaise foie: L'appartement est toujours très propre, le parking privé (box fermé) est à 3 mn à pied. Nous avons souvent le plaisir d'accueillir nos hôtes pour une deuxième ou troisième fois. Je devine que vous ne serez pas de ceux-là, comme semble t-il les personnes qui vous ont hébergé à Barcelone...

Perfect location!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment as the location was perfect for exploring the city of AixEnProvence! Walking distance to MANY places to eat, shop and explore. The parking spot available to us for rent was a 10 minute walk away from the apartment. Four stories DOWN with a poorly lit garage with the spot itself very small and against a wall...Fortunately we had rented a small car but it was still a very difficult place to park. We eventually parked our vehicle in a parking garage close to us, more expensive but was well lit, and for us the parking was much easier. Overall our stay was lovely; with this centrally located apartment in a centrally located city for exploring many other towns and villages.

Comme l’indique google map, je mets 4 mn à pied pour me rendre au garage où je stationne sans problème ma grosse voiture plus mon vélo, le tout dans un box fermé et sécurisé. Je reconnais que non habitués à circuler dans les petites rues de nos villes et villages provençaux, la conduite vous ait parue délicate ; vous voilà entrainés pour votre prochaine visite dans notre belle région !

Feels like home

Great apartment, great location, great owners! One block to Cours Mirabeau and all that Aix has to offer. Just bring your toothbrush and move in. Regine and Jean Francois make you feel welcome and comfortable. Lots of guidebooks on the table to help you plan. The balcony is the perfect spot for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine later. A wonderful and easy experience from beginning to end. Bravo!!

A wonderful stay in Aix

My husband and I had a a wonderful time in Aix. It is a beautiful smaller size city but with museums, great restaurants, and warm people. The apartment was perfect--well equipped, modern, and fabulous location. Jean-Francois was so helpful and provided a great deal of information on where to dine, museums, etc. We will love to be able to stay here again!

Wir fahren seit 25 Jahren nach Aix und haben hier eine Wohnung gefunden, die unseren Vorstellungen entspricht. Wir haben einen Monat dort gewohnt und festgestellt, dass die Ausstattung in allen Bereichen vollständig und durchdacht ist und in vollem Maße der Beschreibung entspricht. Die Lage im Einzugsbereich des Cours Mirabeau ist hervorragend, es ist ruhig, aber man lebt in der Mitte der Stadt mit allen Möglichkeiten. Der eigene Parkplatz ist für Aix außergewöhnlich und erleichtert die Mobilität ins Umland sehr. Die Gesamtabwicklung erfolgte professionell und sehr sehr freundlich von Régine und Jean-François. Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr wieder und werden dort "einfach nur wohnen".

Great apartment in old Aix

Quiet, well furnished, very private, secure and clean contemporary apartment in modern building with an elevator and the secured underground parking. We appreciated a small balcony opened to peaceful green backyard furnished with a small table and sitting for several people. I also enjoyed ability to reach many bakeries, butchers shops, variety of cafeterias within few minutes of walking as well as a daily farmers market within about 10 minutes of walk from the apartment. We enjoyed immensely our stay here and would recommend this place to our friends

The perfect suite for a couple wanting to spend 1 or more weeks in Aix

This suite has it all, size, natural light, quiet, all amenities (washer/dryer, dish washer, full kitchen, microwave oven, parking, comfort, etc...). No barbecue. It's 1 short block from Cour Mirabeau (shopping, restaurants, people watching, markets), rue de l'Italie (food shopping), moments from closest patisserie/boulangerie, museums. galeries, shopping streets. The living /dining room is large, the dining table seats five (we entertained for dinner on 4 occasions). The washroom is efficient, bedroom is large, with closets and drawers, you seem to be able to "move" in permanently. It overlooks the garden, so is very quiet, and has a balcony that can seat 4 easily. All of this in the center of Aix's wonderful organised chaos, with a wonderful, available and patient owner (Jean-Francois) with a great sense of humour: we recommend it highly, and will return to it should we go back to Aix.

Tranquil, well-equipped, central apartment, 100 metres from the restaurants on Cours Mirabeau

This modern-style apartment with a small balcony is on the second floor (with a lift) and overlooks a quiet leafy courtyard (so no street noise). We found it comfortable and well located for restaurants, boulangerie and supermarket. It is 100 metres from the eastern end of Cours Mirabeau and about a kilometre (15 mins walk) from the bus station (from which buses can be caught to the TGV train station (every 20 minutes), to Marseilles (express autoroute buses run every 10 to 20 minutes) or Bus No 110 to the villages beside La Montagne Sainte-Victoire). The bathroom has a good shower. The kitchenette work area is somewhat confined.

Schöne Wohnung in toller, zentraler Lage!

Die Wohnung liegt perfekt, um die Geschäfte, Cafes und Restaurants zu erkunden. Da wir mit dem Auto angereist sind, war der Garagenplatz für uns sehr wertvoll. Direkt in der Innenstadt wird es sonst schwierig. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett und die ganze Abwicklung hat gut funktioniert. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung weiter.

lovely, spacious apartment

This is a great choice for a place to stay in Aix-en-Provence. It is quiet, roomy and bright and comfortable. The location is perfect! The small terrace is usable all day because it never gets full sun. The owners are gracious and thoughtful. We highly recommend this rental.

Excellent apartment

The apartment is in great condition, in a good building located perfectly in the centre of Aix-en-Provence. This is literally right in the middle of the best that the Aix centre has to offer, and is easily accessed via road and public transport. The on site parking is a bonus, which makes this the perfect place to stay to visit the region. The owner is a great guy, who speaks perfect English for those of us whose French is imperfect.

Excellent!

A lovely place to stay. The location is superb. Only 2 mins to Cours Maribeau. When I arrived the apartment was spotless. The kitchen is very well equipped. Very important with all the wonderful markets in Aix. During a very hot spell of weather the apartment stayed cool and comfortable. The building is well maintained, quiet and very secure. I would highly recommend staying here.

Semaine très agréable, accueil chaleureux dans un appartement idéalement situé dans une résidence calme tout en étant proche du cours Mirabeau et de toutes ses commodités. L'appartement est conforme à la description, bien aménagé, propre, rien ne manque, on s'y sent comme chez soi dès le premier instant. Aix est une ville très agréable, vivante et en même temps près de la campagne. Nous avons fait des randonnées dans des sites magnifiques. La visite de la ville avec un guide de l'office de tourisme est très intéressante. Nous avons pu également découvrir Marseille. Semaine trop courte, car région magnifique avec tellement de choses à découvrir. Si nous revenons à Aix, nous reviendrons dans cet appartement sans aucune hésitation. sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung

freundlicher und entgegenkommder Besitzer; perfekt ausgestattete und gut gepflegte und ausgestattete Wohnung, mit allem, was man sich wünscht: von Sektgläsern über Salatschleuder, bis zu Backofen- und Auflaufgeschirr; ideale Lage mitten in Aix, einen Steinwurf vom Cours Mirabeau entfernt; Zusatzbett im Wohnzimmer praktikabel und sehr bequem; multimediale Ausstattung, aber nur einen deutschen Sender; Balkon allerdings immer im Schatten, was im Sommer vielleicht gut ist. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt und würden bei einem nächsten Besuch in Aix sie wieder mieten.

An ideal vacation home in Aix

In Aix en Provence we found the perfect apartment for two retired U.S. travelers who used trains and buses to explore Provence. The location was ideal, just at one end of the Cours Mirabeau and within walking distance of every interesting museum and other point of interest, as well as close to open food and flea markets and beautiful food stores. The apartment was exactly as described: clean, newly furnished and with every comfort. The wifi worked perfectly, the kitchen was well equipped, the TV gave us access to many channels as well as music. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. We easily walked to major restaurants and to buses and trains (to Marseille, Arles, Avignon and Orange, all well worth day trips.) Only one cautionary note: the TGV trains arrrive at a station that is a 40-Euro cab ride to the apartment. But it was worth it. M. Roquigny was prompt, friendly and did everything he promised. We would return.
