Great house near the water

This house was great for our weekend getaway. Only con was there was no AC but there was plenty of window fans available which did a great job at cooling down the house at night.

When traveling with a larger group like yours, that space is very much needed. Unfortunately, our homes don’t have air conditioning, we can see why the kitchen got pretty warm when in use. Opening the windows does help not only in that situation but in situations where the house is pretty warm. Big Bear is definitely a place for friendly neighborhoods:). Property was really nice and location was great! Although house was dirty! Dog hair all over the comforter. Couch had a lot of crumbs from previous occupant.

Big bear visit

Very nice,spacious and close to everything! Grill had to be cleaned when we got there. Parking was a bit tight but we could do it. The fewer the cars the better. Lots of storage. Bedrooms do get warm at night but fans helped. We would go back!

I'm really irritated do the fact that I got $500 fine for not knowing that the Outside surround speaker were left on and no way to disconnect them. So everything that was playing in the house such as movies and music videos was playing outside for all the neighbors to hear. My family and I were not aware That the speakers outside were on. So yes I am bothered by me having to pay a $500 fine For something that wasn't my fault

Amazing property

We had a great time with only 1 hiccup and that was with the check in. There where 2 different codes on the instructions. 1 at the beginning of the instructions which is what I used and one further down the page which I didn’t see. The host Michael responded with a call in minutes and realized the mix up and got us in the home. I only point this out because it was a minor oversight that I don’t believe will happen in the future and the quickness of the host response. Literally within minutes. The house was beautiful with all the little things that you need were provided. Wood for the fireplace, toilet paper, extra towels, all the pots, pans and utensils that you will need. It was definitely 5 Star and everyone in my party were impressed. I will stay at this company’s (which is family run) homes in the future. Thank you Micheal for an exceptional weekend.

Weekend snowboard getaway

The photos accurately represent the home which has a great theme and feel for Big Bear Lake. We appreciated the view and large deck, kitchen appliances, cozy pool room which also has a table shuffleboard, layout of the home, and that it's dog friendly. 3 stars for cleanliness due to visible spiderwebs and dust on ceiling and ceiling fans. Otherwise 5 stars all around.

Xmas 2021

The location of the property is amazing, right on the lake with amazing views form the living room window. The kitchen is well equipped and worked well for a family that likes to cook.an unexpected nice touch was the decorated Christmas tree and the house decorations. We really enjoyed our white Christmas. Remember to bring chains as the driveway is steep.

Over all the house is a nice place, it needs a good power wash outside and deep cleaning inside.

The location of the home is very close to neighbors who live there. The city ordinance was called on us because the music was too loud and it was the lowest possible. We got a warning ! The home blinds were broken, lots of spider webs. Over all it was just ok.

Lakefront Fun

Beautiful house and location with all the amenities for the entire family. Shuffleboard, horseshoes, pool table and a dock for fishing. Something for the entire family, we will be staying here again.

It was a nice property that needs some updating and serious cleaning. I realize I paid a premium considering it was a holiday weekend. That being said, for the size of the property it makes no sense to have a tiny microwave,dishwasher and washer/dryer. The pots & pans needed cleaning as there was food left on a lot of them. The TV downstairs in the game room, we could not get the cable on. The audio throughout the home was not working properly. The pool table needs to be replaced as well as the pucks for the shuffleboard table. We had an enjoyable stay but for the price we paid, I was frustrated to say the least.

Amazing birthday weekend

Had an amazing birthday weekend with 8 friends. This is the perfect house for entertaining and relaxing as there is plenty of space for everyone. Pros: The living spaces were very clean, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Hard to reach places were a little dusty but I imagine it’s hard to keep a large place like that spotless any it really wasn’t a deterrent. The spa was clean, plenty of towels and other amenities. It’s a great location, neighborhood was very quite and great for walking or running. The only con (and not anybodies fault) was the low lake. The dock was in the water but this late in the summer it was pretty grassy so we had to seek water elsewhere. But it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall, wonderful weekend!

Beautiful View

Pros: The view was beautiful specially from the master bedroom. I enjoyed the deck for eating with all of our guests. The house is beautiful and charming. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans (good pots and pans) The stove top has 6 burners and works great! The master bathroom shower is so beautiful. The owner passed by and was very nice. I love the set up 2 rooms with the bunk bed are off the kitchen and theres a bathroom for that area. Theres 2 bedrooms with queen size bed and a bathroom in the hallway. The laundry room is in the hallway. The master bedroom and master bathroom is upstairs and has a private loft sitting area. The game room is great everyone loves to play pool, shuffle board and horseshoes. Theres a hammock on the back porch thats super cool everyone had to take a turn. The area is very nice. I went for a nightly walk every night the neighborhood is so serene and peaceful. Few cons these are not deal breakers: we rented here to be on the lake but unfortunately the lake had dried up until about 3 houses over. We had to drive to the lake so we only went once. If you have OCD like me you will be cleaning a lot. The kitchen is beautiful but has not been cleaned properly in months (Just my opinion; sorry if that sounds rude) I had to call maintenance to turn off the ovens after diner (the oven knobs are really confusing and its hard to read the temperature) Lots and lots of cobwebs outside the windows, doors and deck railing. Advice 1. Bring towels; This place has about 2 towels per room and don't forget dish towels too! 2. Just take the trash with you when you take the keys back to the office the dump is near the office
