Oasis 18 is a modern and bright apartment on Hamilton Island with lovely water views. Great location close to the Hamilton Island marina village. The new owners have refurnished the apartment to their exquisite taste.

The living area is open and spacious and has DVD, Plasma TV and stereo. Beautifully furnished, open and bright apartment. Fully air-conditioned or enjoy the beautiful Hamilton Island breezes.

The balcony is large and spacious with beautiful Whitsunday water views. Private bbq on the balcony.

Modern kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, oven, stainless steel appliances.
Dining area has a 6 seater dining table.

The apartment sleeps up to 6 adults plus a baby. A cot and highchair is also available. There is also a separate powder room with toilet and basin. Full laundry with washing machine and dryer.


Little extras included in your price:
• Each apartment has its own buggy for your use during your stay.

• Valet return Hamilton Island Airport transfers. Look for the sign with your name on it! You and all your luggage are taken for a quick tour of Hamilton Island and then to your apartment for a hassle free start to your holiday.

Great pool area!

The shared pool is for exclusive use of Oasis on Hamilton Island guests only.

You are also welcome to use the main resort pools on the beach - only a 3 minute drive in your complimentary buggy!

The pictures on the internet definitely make the place look better then what is in real life plus had a bad odour of old and stale closed in smell that would not get better even until the last day of when we left (7 day stay). Could not open the doors or windows to ventilate because of the white parrots would come in. Old and run down unit. The lounge cushions are old and looked dirty, didn’t want to use. In the last night found some type of wiggly parasites in my bed,Apart from the view which was the only good thing I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed and made my stay unpleasant and could not wait to leave room each day.

We were particularly disappointed to read this review as we did not receive any communication from you during your 5 night stay regarding odour, cleanliness, or any other concerns. We are always available and encourage guests to contact us immediately should anything be less than perfect, as we pride ourselves on resolving issues promptly. The apartment is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to every arrival, and we have not had any prior reports of odours, bugs, or cleanliness issues. Had this been brought to our attention at the time, we would have investigated and addressed it immediately. Since your departure, the property has been thoroughly checked again and no such issues have been found. Regarding ventilation, this is a tropical island environment and local wildlife is part of the natural setting. The apartment is designed to be enjoyed comfortably with air-conditioning when doors and windows are closed.

The property is quite nice and looks like it does in the pics. Bathrooms are new and excellent. The shortcomings we experienced include:Musty smell throughout - we had to live out of our suitcases as the wardrobes really smell, as do all cupboards, plastic utensils, floor rug, placemats, couch, drawers in bedrooms. Dishwasher drawer wheels are broken - the bottom drawer collapses into bottom of dishwasher. Top drawer hard to use and heading in same direction as the lower one.Many of the window blinds don't work or are very hard to use.BBQ Gas bottle was empty on check in - replaced quickly when reported.Internet is the only source of TV - there is no aerial. Internet/WIFI would not support more than one device without constant and long buffering so watching films, using phones/laptops was incredibly frustrating and inefficient.Some basics missing we would normally expect to be present: clothes rack/airer, broom, toilet brush in each bathroom (there's only one) a new mop - the one there is disgusting. Feel we were well overcharged for this property - it needs money spent on it and a deep clean. (move beds and couches, clean under the laundry trough.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
This property is very run down - needs a paint job and a freshen up! Lots of things like light switches and blinds weren’t working properly, and we also have major ongoing issues with the buggy that was provided for us. The property was not very clean and we had two cockroaches in the bathroom! Being a cheaper apartment complex lots of groups stay there and we had to put up with extremely loud parties 3 out of 4 nights of our stay.
