This is the first time I have ever left a bad review on Vrbo and the first time we had to leave a property and check into a hotel. This house was not as advertised. One could look past the crusty bath towels, the flat as pancake pillows with instructions to put pillowcases over the shams for sleeping, and the lack of umbrellas in the pool area in 100 AZ heat , despite the photos showing 4 umbrellas. But we had to leave this property because of the smell. The air filter in the kitchen had dust caked on it. While we were told a cleaning crew had been to the property and surface areas appeared clean, the dirty stench was apparent. One of our party could not stop coughing within minutes of being in the house. Read all the reviews and you will see a pattern of similar feedback countered by the mgmt team as one off issues. To top it off, the Evolve management team listened to our concerns but never got back to us with a resolution to our concerns. For us, this property is Not up to VRBO standards.

We traveled to Phoenix for some medical appointments. The house had a great location for traveling to and from our commitments. It was a great place to unwind, after seeing the doctors.

The host was easy to reach. The home was clean. However, it did lack a few things. Towels were very old/used. The bathrooms really could use updating. The kitchen lacked any sort of "wrap" for food or ziploc type bags. The front door was quite the challenge to work with. It actually felt as if it would fall off trying to lock and unlock it. It should most definitely be replaced. Probably would not return to this property.

After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following: - We believe an older towel that we normally keep for cleaning may have accidentally been mixed in with the guest towels by our cleaning team. We caught the issue and have since corrected it. - While the bathrooms are older, everything works perfectly. At this time, we plan to keep them as they are since they do not impact the functionality of the stay. - We do not supply plastic wrap or zip-top bags, but we do provide reusable food storage containers in the kitchen for guest use. - The front door was replaced last year and closes tightly, which can make it feel a bit firm when locking or unlocking. That said, we will still take a look at it to make sure everything is operating properly. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, which helps us continue improving for future guests.
