About the host
Hosted by Stompin' Wombats
I was born in the area so was keen to help bring tourism back to Marysville after the 2009 bushfires.
Why they chose this property
Stompin' wombats was built to help, in a small way, to bring economic and community recovery to Marysville.
What makes this property unique
I chose this site because of the awesome views and that it backs onto the State Forest. Marysville has become a unique country town, rebuilt after the bushfires with strong community spirit. That spirit has led to many events each year eg Jazz festival, marathon, comedy, car rallies, sparkling wine festival, opera and many more.
