Pinnacle Apartment 8 is a stunning 3 bedroom property offering beautiful ocean views.


Situated atop of some of the highest land on Hamilton Island, relax and enjoy the views from the large balcony perfect for entertaining.


The apartment has no internal stairs, so it is a great option for families with children. Being a top floor ocean view apartment, entry is up a small set of stairs.


Given the open plan, modern living and views that Pinnacle 8 offers it is no wonder that many of our guests that stay here choose to return!

Lots not working!

We enjoyed our stay on Hamilton Island however was disappointed with the accommodation to some extent. The dishwasher didn't work and after calling the mobile number for three days in a row with no response finally had the maintenance man say it can't be fixed. He also advised us he had been to the same apartment recently with the same problem!!!! The washing machine didn't do the spin cycle and after our previous lack of response didn't bother calling for help. The hot plates need some work/cleaning. Often they would go out during cooking. 2nd bedroom didn't have a tongue in the door fitting therefore unable to keep door closed. Unable to lock bathroom door also proved a lack of privacy. The shower head in the bathroom provided a dribble if that!! Thanks for having us, however we believe for the price we paid for this apartment we were short changed for what we thought we were getting.

After choosing this property from the excellent description (brand new & luxurious), we found out this was not the case. I'm sure at some stage the property was brand new and luxurious but it was not when we arrived. I understand with the Cyclone going through this year that external and wear and tear maintenance would have been put on the back burner and that is fine. But little things like the washing machine not working properly (kept stopping and machine needs to be cleaned out - we have had the exact model in our own home and I recognised the issue straight away, but machine kept getting stuck on spin even though it was not off balance), tv remote not working for the main tv and subsequently no tv remote for the tv in the main bedroom. Fan switches were missing, some of the lights did not work, rangehood was pot luck as to when it worked. The BBQ was our biggest disappointment, there was a notice saying we needed to clean after use, but it was so deteriorated that when we started to clean it, parts of the grill started falling off. The flame would only light up the back of the BBQ so after a couple of tries, we just stopped using it. The bedding was the most uncomfortable I have ever stayed at. I understand that the owner would have bought for longevity, but both ourselves (who prefer a soft bed) and our friends (who like harder mattresses) thought they were extremely hard and had a sore back for the duration of our stay. It is obvious that the owner of this property has not spent any money on maintenance for quite some time. The property is well laid out, in a good location and could be a great holiday home. This is our 4th trip to Hamilton Island and we choose this property as we needed an extra bedroom from our previous trips but we would rather have squished into a 2 bedroom that was better maintained and more comfortable.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location, great space, nice and comfortable, would recommend and stay again. Just need a few little touch ups, oven was quite scary to work as well as the cooktop, no instructions on how to use it and tha upstairs shower, the water came out the door which was a bit slippery but overall great accommodation

Awesome spot!

Great spot on quieter side of island. Loved having the buggy to get to resort side of island. Ate at some great restaurants. Did some spectacular things.
