My wife and I just spent 10 days. Wonderful experience. Surrounded by jungle, lots of wildlife, beautiful ocean vistas, cool breezes. Best of all Trudy and Bob are amazing, gracious hosts. Got to play pickle ball with Bob and swap recipes with Trudy. We will go back just as much to visit with our new friends as to stay at their retreat.

We could not have asked for better accommodations or hosts! The house is incredible! Everything you could want and/or need. And there is a pickleball court on the property! The view is breathtaking!! We saw monkeys everyday! We woke to the Howler Monkeys the first morning after our arrival and it was a terrifying sound, until I found out what it was.Robert and Trudy were the best! We now have great friends in Costa Rica! They alerted us when the monkeys came through daily and showed us the spectacular views from the roof of their incredible home at sunset. They are definitely living a beautiful life and so sweet to share it with others.Nearby Garza is great. As is Garza Beach. Not touristy. More local feeling. A really beautiful beach with access to boats. If you want more tourist/upscale beaches, head south to Samara. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and meeting their new puppy!!!

Garza Casita

Beautiful property with a great ocean view. Surrounded by beautiful forest and meadows. Lots of Privacy, easy drive to the beach, monkeys show up for viewing, and the house has everything you need. Hosts are great, english speaking, and very accommodating. Nosara and Giuones close by. Will stay here again!

We had a delightful stay at this bit of heaven in Garza and can attest to Bob and Trudy’s hospitality. Need something, just ask! Local intel, treats, they care about making your Costa Rica experience pleasant so you can relax on your vacation. PURA VIDA! Up above Garza, you’re afforded a stunning view of fishing boats in Bahía Garza. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets during happy hour on our patio, occasionally hearing howler monkeys chatting before sundown. From the kitchen window, tropical birds command your attention. The place is extremely secure—2 security gates to reach it. Some may find it work to get to (rent a car), but it’s worth it. You feel at home Inside the well-appointed casita. Decor is interesting without being overly kitschy. Beach gear is available. You get peacefulness at your home base, AND access to tours or road trips. Try: –Phenomenal massage on site. Indira is a gifted healer, values connection with your energy. Incredible price! –Miss Sky Canopy Tours. Simply a must-do. Great staff. Safe and fun. –NatureTours Gabriela. Kayaked through mangroves. Gabriela is knowledgeable, very funny. –Costas Verdes. Eco tour helping with habitat restoration by planting trees. –Garza Beach, Playa Rosada. Did they shoot a Corona commercial here? (wink). Diving pelicans! Know the tide schedule hiking to Playa Rosada. –Eats. La Malacrianza (Garza). La Luna (Nosara). We hope to stay here again someday, maybe in the rainy season when things are less dusty and more lush.

We love this property. The views are mazing and the hosts truly the best.

You are on top of a hill with views of the ocean on one side and views of the jungle on the other. The place is open and airy. Trudy and Bob couldn't be nicer and more helpful. I highly recommend this place!

An incredible experience!

We found this little gem of a Casita in the exact location we wanted. Just about 15 mins from the busy Guiones. The area feels very safe and this Casita had the most incredible views! We got up everyday to watch the sunrise over the mountains. The ocean view is absolutely breathtaking! The casita was comfortable and airy. Kitchen was great and had everything we needed. More then happy! We will definitely be back. The host were more then accommodating with anything that we needed. Highly recommend this unique Costa Rica experience!
