A wonderful view of the ocean and the city. The access road to the house is very poor—the roads are completely broken up—but that is not the homeowner's fault. The parking space for the car is good.
Really nice stay. Apartment is as advertised, good view of town/pitons, walkable to downtown/grocery/dinner. As noted, the hill/road to get up is a bit intense but wasn't a problem to walk up/down for us. Really nice bonus to have Janus and Jeda and team accessible to provide rides, tours, get reservations, etc. Overall enjoyed the stay. Very budget friendly option near the heart of all the activities.
Big and clean appartment. The terasse is small but very nice, with an incredible view on the Pitons, the sea and the village! Arrival was easy. Washing machine and dryer very useful. The road to go there is a bit bumpy but manageable.
The view is 100% what makes this place the best. We spent most of the time we were home out on the balcony overlooking Soufriere and the Pitons. The place is pretty basic, but that's exactly what we needed as we weren't spending too much time at home anyway - so much to see and do! Insider tip: rent a Jimny from Islander Cars - best vehicle for getting around the island! Easy parking at this location. The only small hitch was getting there, as the GPS coordinates got us close, but we had to call to get clarification on exactly where to go. But resolved quickly and easily and no issues after that.
This place was clean and comfortable and had great views of Soufriere. The BEST part was that we were connected to an amazing local driver (Stephen, aka Platinum) who served as our personal driver, photo taker, and tour guide for our whole stay. Stephen provided an invaluable and professional service, was super knowledgeable about local history, and went above & beyond in guiding us and providing recommendations for us. Denise helped us to book tours & excursions and was really helpful as well. Bring ear plugs as animals at night were loud. We loved staying here !
Great condo in Soufriere with fantastic view for morning coffee. Property pin on google maps not correct but Vrbo manager Ali came along and proved to be very friendly and reliable for our time here. Walking distance to waterfront. Took the public bus to base of tet Paul and walked. Very good property and people are friendly. Bakery down the hill is great and 3bees has good food . Marvin drove us to airport and was excellent. Overall a positive experience

Nice place and host
Janus and his property were a delight- it is a perfect fit for adventurous types who will be renting a (4WD) car. This property is in Soufriere New Development, which offers nice views of the town and the Pitons. To get to the property, you take a rough road up the hill, so a 4WD vehicle is essentially required. There are a few restaurants in the area, but again, driving ~15 minutes will allow you to get to some of the best restaurants just outside of town. All in all, we would stay again
Great spot in Soufriere close to everything! 15min walk to the ocean, 5min walk to grocery store. short drive to many great spots in the area. Could easily park our rental car in the driveway. Balcony offered amazing views for evening sunsets and relaxing. Full kitchen with everything we needed which helped save on costs. Hosts are very responsive and friendly. Shower pressure is hit and miss but usable. Earplugs recommended if you're a light sleeper for the early morning rooster calls. Stray dogs and limited street lighting makes walking back from town at night less advisable but we didn't have any major issues.
This property is on the hill overlooking Soufriere and the Bay. Like all properties here, the road to get to these places are narrow, steep and bumpy and first time drivers here might be a bit freaked out. This property had a big designated parking spot for each unit which is nice. Although this place is on the hillside it is within walking distance of town centre and the beach. Masseys grocery store is a five minute walk. Soufriere is central to many attractions, gros and petite pitons, botanical gardens and mineral baths, Sulphur springs and tet paul nature trail (recommend for the view). The view from 1A made for relaxing mornings and evenings. The property manager is very pleasant and available for your needs. Great place. Would recommend.

Decent Location
Location is at the edge of town. About a 20-25 minute walk to most restaurants. Would recommend a flashlight for the walk home at night as the streets are not well lit - take general safety precautions and don’t walk alone. We had a view of the Pitons from the small deck outside of the bedroom as well as a view from the shower. It was the biggest bedroom we had during our time in St. Lucia, but the furnishings were very sparse. Kitchen was not well equipped, and while we were able to access the laundry room on site, it is not inside the unit so less convenient and not as secure. Delays in communication with the owner .
My husband & I just got back from a 17 day vacation in St. Lucia. We spent the first week in Soufriere at Janus' apartment. The apartment was in a great location within walking distance to town and Humming Bird beach. A vehicle is an asset to get to some of the other sights, however cabs are an option, but can get costly. The view from the balcony of the apartment overlooking the town and the pitons, was spectacular! We had everything we needed in the apartment to enjoy a comfortable stay including a tv to watch our Toronto Maple Leafs in the playoffs! We were able to sit and enjoy a drink with Janus after getting locked out on our balcony by accident! LOL Janus to the rescue! Can't say enough about how amazing this guy is, so sweet, a great young business man and a pleasure to converse with. We really enjoyed our stay in Soufriere and found that the town had the most to do out of anywhere in St. Lucia. Janus thank you so much for hosting us!! You are a gem!!

No hot water
There was no hot water during our 4 day stay. Wi-fi did not work as instructed. back up system was very intermittent which made for concern getting Covid results. Neighbourhood was extremely noisy., dogs, cocks and music . Road to apartment in very poor condition. Sofa with protruding springs was very uncomfortable.
Kitchen very well equipped but no tea towels. No hand towels for bathroom. Nice to have a good washing machine and clothes hanger.
We spent a month in Janus' property, and had a wonderful time. Everything we could need was there, and if something gave out, Janus was on top of replacing it quickly. He was stopping by all the time, and his team would bring by fresh fruit and bread weekly as well as checking in himself to see how you are doing.
You really don't need a car to stay here, its an enjoyable walk down the hill to the town centre for groceries, taxis are cheap, and Janus is happy to have you picked up from the airport. He also manages several add-on services including the ability to arrange tours and drivers if needed.
There is lots to do in walking distance and the town has tour agencies covering many activities. You have a perfect view of tall ships and small cruises and yachts that pull in. And the view of the Pitons every morning with your coffee is perfect.
The only thing to watch out for is remember this is a small fishing and farming community. Roosters go all times of day and night along with dogs and local small town noises. After a couple days though it just becomes background music unless you are really a light sleeper.
We have to give thanks again to Janus for making our stay a wonderful one.

Very lovely Apartment overlooking the pretty town of Soufriere with the two pitons in the background
Very well appointed apartment with lots of space, good deck for evenings and watching sunsets. Kitchen is well equipped and bathroom delivers constant water for showers. Near so many of the best sights on St Lucia. It definitely helps to have a car here in order to get to some quite inaccessible places.

Schöne Unterkunft, guter Ausblick auf den Pitons und sehr netter Vermieter
Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Der Blick vom Balkon auf die Pitons und aufs Meer war beeindruckend. Janus war ein sehr netter Vermieter. Die Unterkunft war sauber und man hatte sehr gutes Wlan. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen, sodass man die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten und schönen Strände in kurzer Fahrzeit erreicht.

views for days!!!
Janus will take SUCH good care of you! From the beginning, he led us to a car rental company that was GREAT! They picked us up at the airport, and let us follow them all the way back to the apartment! We couldn't have been more grateful for that, because there aren't road signs in St. Lucia, and we were pretty nervous about the super skinny winding roads. We may not have made it without help... The apartment is new, (that is a big deal here) and a great home base for all of our adventures. The bed is firm. (maybe more than we like) And the couch is not super comfortable, we used our pillows to help with that. But we didn't fly to St. Lucia to stay in the apartment. We were grateful for the AC, and all the modern appliances! We went scuba diving with Chester from action adventure divers (just down the street at Hummingbird resort) We snorkeled at Sugar Beach and Anse Chastenet. We liked the view outside of the water better at Sugar Beach, but we liked the view under water better at Anse Chastenet. We went zip lining at Morne Coubaril (also a Janus suggestion). It was close by and was super fun. Martha's Tables was our favorite place to eat local food! SO yummy and Ruby's just down the street served a mean burger $20 US (we had other's on the island that didn't taste like hamburger to us) and great pizza for a little taste of home. The pizza was about $12 US. All in all we were happy to have stayed here at Saphire, grateful for Janus and Fabion who make a fantastic team, and man we miss that view!
