About this property
R&R at Point Roadknight
This four bedroom open plan classic beach house is an ideal getaway for families and friends, accommodating up to 10 people. It is just 100m from the beautiful, safe, Point Roadknight beach and a short stroll over the dunes to the rugged back beach.
No pets.
No schoolies or teenage groups. Adult groups 25 years and over.
The House
The house is the perfect beach getaway to rest and relax. It is set among the tea trees, with large windows to ensure the house is bathed in natural light. The sounds of the ocean, magpies and currawongs make it a place where you truly can exhale.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second a double. The third bedroom has 2 sets of bunks. The fourth has a queen sized bed. The house sleeps 10 people in total. There is room for a portacot (supplied) in the bunk room or either of the queen sized rooms if needed.
The living area has a large, comfy sofa and flat screen TV, DVD player, Google Chromecast and a docking station with bluetooth capability so you can listen to music on your ipod/iphone/samsung etc.
Please note that on very clear days or very stormy days the tv reception can be poor - but there are some dvds to watch if you really need couch time!
There is a wood heater for cold winter nights or you can enjoy the convenience of a highly effective electric wall heater.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and stove, microwave, crockery, cutlery, glassware and pots. A BBQ near the deck is also available to use.
The decking provides ample space for alfresco dining and entertaining, with a long trestle table and outdoor chairs. Move one of them around to catch the perfect amount of sun and shade while you have your morning coffee.
The kids will love playing in the cubby house, playing on the swings or playing hide’n’seek in among the tea trees. There is off-street parking for up to three cars.
The beach is a very short stroll, either via the quiet back lane or out the front. There are a couple of boogie boards available for your use. In summer, the kiosk is a convenient way to grab a great coffee or ice-cream.
After the beach, you can rinse off in the heated outdoor shower.
There are two bathrooms, one of which has a bath.
