The most magical stay you will ever have. A beautiful bespoke cottage and wonderfully tended garden to explore. Feeding the sheep was a highlight and a fun, enriching, sensory experience for kids.

We had such a lovely time, the perfect spot for a complete rest.. very comfy cottage with an amazing view out front, the gardens are beautiful. Our hosts were very welcoming.. we appreciated the gift of home-made bread and plum jam !

Peace and tranquillity

We had a very peaceful and comfortable stay at Wombat Hill. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. The grounds were beautiful and it was an ideal position to easily visit Berry, Kiama, Kangaroo Valley and Fitzroy Falls. We enjoyed the freshly baked bread and eggs provided and even the experience of feeding their 4 sheep. We would love to return again and would happily recommend the place to our friends and family. Thank you Jenny and Nick.

This BnB is just wonderful. Jenny and Nick have absolutely nailed it. From the delicious fresh baked bread, well provisioned kitchen to the extremely comfy bed, we cojldn't fault it.

Beautiful retreat

I had an amazing time! The hosts were really friendly and the property was beautiful. It was a perfect getaway from the city, and I found it was very peaceful to walk through the garden. I highly recommend!

2nd Wonderful Stay

This was our 2nd stay at Wombat Hill. We love it. It is the most wonderful place to stay between Berry and Kangaroo Valley and to experience countryside bliss.

This was an exceptional place to stay over the New Year, with such a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The garden is beautiful, the view from the verandah is stunning, and the cottage itself is well-appointed and many extras are provided by the hosts, like home-made fresh bread, jams, eggs from the property's chickens and more.Jenny and Nick are wonderful hosts, respecting their guests' privacy, but also providing helpful advice and information. I cannot rate this experience highly enough.

Sad we didn't get to stay longer

What a beautiful slice of the world this is. My husband and 2 year old had a lovely stay here. The most accomodating hosts we've ever had, a cosy beautiful unit, and stunning property. Despite heavy rain we still had a wonderful stay and appreciated Jenny's suggestions of activities nearby. We are sad we don't live closer!

More than just a B&B

Jenny and Nick have put in a lot of hard work to keep to place maintained beautifully. The gardens are great to walk through at the end of the day and the animals, especially the sheep, were fantastic - very cute and friendly! The living area is modern and comfortably detached from the rest of the house. WiFi was also available for anyone wondering.

We had a wonderful stay at Wombat Hill Bed & Breakfast and couldn’t recommend it more. The place was spotless and beautifully maintained, and Jenny and Nick were exceptional hosts - extremely welcoming and friendly while also fully respecting our privacy.The gardens are absolutely stunning and were a real highlight of our stay. We loved exploring them, especially heading down each morning to feed the sheep. The garden is filled with beautiful flowers, orange trees, and chickens, and Jenny and Nick were incredibly generous in sharing the produce with us. We were treated to a freshly baked loaf of bread, oranges from the garden (which we made into fresh juice), eggs from their chickens, and an assortment of their delicious homemade jams - such a special touch.The location was easy to find on maps and perfectly situated, with a short drive to many fantastic walking tracks. Having a BBQ facility on site was also a great bonus. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. A peaceful, relaxing getaway with thoughtful hosts and beautiful surroundings. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Wombat Hill Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

The Perfect retreat when in Kangaroo Valley

The cottage was comfortable, the hosts gracious, the location stunning. Unfortunately Stayz let us down by not communicating with the owners even though we paid a large booking fee.

Aahhhh The Serenity

If you are looking for peace and quiet, home made treats and an expansive and delightful garden hideaway then Wombat Hill is it. Our hosts go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and the location is perfect to either explore the many attractions or sit quietly and contemplate never returning to the city. Highly recommend.

Relaxing and blissful

Jenny and Nick were both amazing hosts. They have such a lovely bnb and went above and beyond with fresh eggs and fruit from their chickens and orchard. They have such a lovely view there and we will definitely be back in the future.

Perfect weekend away in the country

Idyllic is how you would describe a weekend at Wombat Hill. Sitting in the morning sun on the verandah, was a perfect way to take in the glorious views across the valley. We were in Bellawongarah to attend an event. Jenny & Nick were so generous in their offers to drive us to the venue or down to Berry. The breakfast hamper of bacon, freshly baked sourdough and eggs from their farm, was the perfect Sunday morning recovery. If you're looking for a true country retreat, yet still close enough to duck into Berry, then we can recommend Wombat Hill.

Restful Retreat

The peace and serenity of the property was a wonderful introduction to a relaxing and carefree couple of days during a stressful family time. Once we drove through the gate we were literally in another world. A return visit during slightly warmer times is a definite.

The perfect getaway

We have had a beautiful weekend in this fantastic property. The hosts are just perfect, they look after you but giving you privacy. The place is great, with the most amazing view to the garden and the valley. And of course, feeding the sheeps was our daughter’s favourite activity. We would love to return to this special place.
