What a lovely place to stay! So well appointed (literally thought of everything!), so easy to communicate with and great location. Would definitely recommend and thank you
My family of 5 stayed here for 5 days and loved it. It’s cozy, but you have everything you need and it is laid out and furnished very nicely. The location is fantastic, only a few minutes walk to either the water or Darby St. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

So glad you found the Petite Chalet to your liking! It certainly is located in the heart of Newcastle and means that for most things you can “leave the car at home”. I wish you all the best for your future travels,
Cheers, Jacqui
The property was exactly as advertised & all communication excellent. The manager, Jacqui Harvey was wonderful & we highly recommend Stayz, especially the Petite Chalet Newcastle.

Thanks so much for such a wonderful review! Personally I hate “surprises” with regards the accommodation when I go on holidays so we work hard to make sure everything is exactly as shown on our photos.
I appreciate you choosing Cooks Hill Chalets and wish you all the best for your future travels,
Cheers,
Jacqui
Petit Chalet was perfect for my family’s visit to Cook’s Hill. The location was great and the house was well equipped with everything we needed and we felt very comfortable there. The double garage was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend!
This is one of, if not the, best short term stays I've had anywhere.
The house is so thoughtfully appointed, I don't think Jacqui has forgotten anything.
Cooks Hill is reminiscent of inner city Melbourne, with greta cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops.
Would stay there again for sure.

Thanks so much for the glowing review. I am so glad you enjoyed staying at the Petite Chalet!
We are spoilt with the close proximity to everything in Cooks Hill as well.
All the best for your future travels and perhaps we will see you again,
Cheers,
Jacqui
We were a group of 3 couples away for the weekend in Newcastle. Cooks Hill Petite Chalet was perfect. Great location, luxe accommodation with extra special touches. We loved the luxury gift bags in the bedrooms filled with high-end toiletries, a hand loofah, and even a sewing kit. And I absolutely loved the incredibly soft, fluffy bath towels. The cottage itself was light and bright with lovely decorator touches. Having a double garage was handy and street parking was available. The location meant it was possible to walk to the Anzac Memorial Walk and to Honeysuckle Foreshore. We would definitely love to stay again.
The Petite Chalet was the perfect inner city pad to explore Newcastle. Very cosy (yet not cramped), incredibly well equipped kitchen, and super quiet. We loved it.
We had a wonderful stay in Newcastle made pleasurable by staying so close to the city and what seems the Sydney’s Paddington of Newcastle - Cooks Hill.
Having onsite parking - very comfortable home and our host Jacqui so helpful.

So glad you enjoyed exploring this wonderful part of Newcastle. And in fact the best way we can describe Cooks Hill to Sydney guests is to say that it is our own little "Paddington"! And parking is a rare feature here so we are blessed with a secure garage.
All the best for your future travels,
Cheers,
Jacqui
The property was excellent. Clean and beautifully presented. The process to access the property was simple. Communication with the host was prompt and pleasant.
