What an amazing place for a getaway with a few families! The house has everything you need, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax together. The kids had the best time fishing off the jetty and didn't want to leave. David was such an amazing host: warm, welcoming and always quick to help. We'd love to come back. Highly recommend!

A great place to take a large group or family. Very welcoming and plenty to do. Dog had a great time too. David is a great host. I'd recommend staying at least 3 nights or longer if you can.

We had a really great stay here. The place was clean, comfortable and had a very relaxing atmosphere. It was perfect for a chill getaway with friends. David was an amazing host — very kind, friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. The kitchen and facilities were well equipped and everything was easy to use. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this property to other travellers looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Our extended family had a wonderful stay, with David as a helpful and generous host. Endless activities for the kids, with fishing, kayaking, boating, roasting marshmallows on the fire, and loads of games at the house. Definitely recommend the VIP option to go exploring in the pontoon boat. We’ll be looking forward to coming back again.

We loved David's house! We had 8 adults staying and had a ball. The boat package is a must!. The peninsula is beautiful with walks, water, sunsets and stars. Check in was smooth and David was such an attentive host when needed. We brought all our food and drink for the weekend, which easily fitted on the boat and made for a fun weekend. Highly recommended, we will be back!

Great stay

The location is great, peaceful, beautiful, beds very comfortable and warm, good range of utensils and cutlery, the host David extremely welcoming, very kind and extremely helpful person. I strongly recommend this place for someone looking for quiet and peaceful holiday

This was a beautiful spot on the water we had a really great time. The fire pit was tops and having access to the boat was fantastic, David was a lovely host and was very friendly and easy going.

Great location and fantastic host

What a great bunch of young adults Most were final year law students and graduate lawyers It just goes to show that lawyers START off their careers as decent human beings!!! (Ok I am a bit biased against lawyers after a recent divorce)

Relaxing family weekend

The location and view is to die for, just stunning.. Perfect comfy rustic accommodation, we loved our family weekend away. Dave is the best, couldn’t ask for a better host he attended to our needs no matter the time. We will definitely be back.. Highly recommend A+++

Great riverside family house

Great spot to explore the river for a family plus a dog. Using the boat was awesome as was fishing off the wharf. The house was spacious for a family of 5 plus a dog.

Excellent water front stay!

The house is right by the river, stunning location, really beautiful spot. The use of the boat is a great addition. Excellent host, extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful, great local tips and very generous with his property. Would definitely recommend a stay, and we’ll certainly be back!

Relaxing river stay

This unique property was the perfect escape for our family get together. David was an excellent host, very helpful and accommodating. I recommend the VIP package, it was great to cruise along the river in the pontoon boat!

We had an amazing time, we enjoyed the house boat and Jetty. David the host was very helpful and accommodating. Location was great for all of us to get away together. The house was a good fit for 8 adults and well appointed, it is a little old and in need of maintenance but this didn’t detract from the stay

Beautiful location and wonderful host

My family and I had a fantastic stay at bar point. Situations on the point the views and access to the river are wonderful. David the host is friendly and truly aims to make the stay a perfect one. Local walks and hikes, along with great fishing and plenty of house games (pool, table tennis, air hockey, darts) made this a wonderful getaway for the family. Highly recommend for those looking for a relaxing get away.
