Had a wonderful seven day stay in Rye. The light filled, upper living area was spacious, comfortably furnished and well equipped. We all enjoyed the views and sightings of incoming and outgoing ships. One evening we were fortunate enough to see 12 satellites including a Starlink chain. Very exciting. The Moonah trees were amazing. Must be able to do stairs.
Had a great stay. When the weather was good we went to the beach, and on the rainy days enjoyed the billiard table. The place had everything we needed.
We enjoyed our ten day stay very much. I loved the bright main space and spent many hours reading there or on the patio. The kitchen was amazingly stocked so cooking/dining was a breeze. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated the linen. Since it was a bit chilly, I appreciated the adjustable heaters in each room I would definitely recommend and return. Quick access to the beach, a short walk to shops and a good neighborhood for walking and exercise.
Property was as described and well stocked for a relaxing holiday. The location is superb and easy to get to dining/shops/beach.
We had a great time here and will be looking to book again in the future.
Thank you!
Our overall stay was great. The location was close to the beach and transport, and we loved the kayaks. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and communication was easy. The only slight issue we had was that certain appliances and the towels were not the cleanest. Otherwise we had a great experience. Would definitely stay again!
The property was just as described and worked really well for our group. The location was amazing and though the weather didn't allow us to use the beach as much as we would have liked, the pool table was an amazing asset to keep us entertained in the wet, cold afternoons!
Great location, with the beach right across the road. Clean, sunny and bright open plan living area, with a lovely view over the sea and the treetops, from inside and the balcony. Could have done with some shade on the balcony but plenty of shady spots in the garden.

Great location, disappointing property
My husband and I stayed for a month with our son and his partner visiting weekends. Upon arrival we were disappointed with the cleanliness. Many areas were very dusty, window frames and vent fans were thick with dust and cobwebs. (Vents were cleaned when I brought it to Gavin’s attention). The balcony furniture was very dirty and I cleaned it myself The vacuum operated poorly so it was difficult to get the home clean. The only check in instructions were where to find the key. Wifi password, garbage disposal info needed to be requested - response took more than one attempt. All communications had a slow response There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms are on the lower floor; all bedrooms are upstairs. Location was excellent. A very short walk to a wonderful beach and a 20 minute walk to the Blairgowrie shops. I think the property was way over priced for the state of repair and cleanliness
We could not recommend this property more highly. Lis and Gavin are excellent hosts and offer their home with everything you could ever need. (We're used to holiday homes with barely a saucepan and a sharp knife - this has it all and more ... so much more!) Beds and furniture generous and comfy. Our dogs were welcome. The views are amazing. Beach across the road and Blairgowrie a stone's throw away. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.
We had an amazing 2 weeks at Tyrone foreshore, the house is exactly as listed with well equipped kitchen (including quality coffee machine) and perfect location directly opposite beach. Whilst you can't see traffic, you can hear it but it didn't bother us. The deck faces north so all day sun, umbrella could be useful. Only downside is having both bathrooms downstairs. Secure yards (front and back) for dogs.
Everything made for a relaxing, memorable family holiday
So wonderful being able to have pets; yard downstairs is fully enclosed and lush, and there is large pet door to come in which my 30kg dog and child has no problem fitting through. It can be blocked with other door if no pets and want more security.
House beautiful, open and airy and equipped with all comforts needed, laundry, kitchen supplies, cooking basics like oil, salt, coffee machine ❤️, and no shortage of crockery, appliances and convenience.
Hard to see the beach for the trees in the photos, but there is ONLY those trees and the road between the house and beach, which is on the North side of the peninsula so still and shallow warmer waters good for small kids. South beaches and waves and beautiful walks only a short drive away.
Set of stairs to enter house, first level is pool table and couch and books and TWO bathrooms which was very handy, and upper level is the open plan living area, balcony and three bedrooms.
Couple minor maintenance things not tended to, but hosts were nice to speak with and kindly accommodated me making a slightly shorter booking than the week normally needed.
House fully equipped, beautiful and fully equipped. Highly recommend and hope to stay again.
The house was well equipped with kitchen appliances, cutlery, crockery etc.
The pool table, stand up paddleboard, kayaks and bikes were a great addition.
Just across the road from the beach, but it's it's very busy road and it is pretty hard to cross at times.
We loved sitting out on the deck.
It's only a short drive to Rye or Blairgowrie shops.
The yard is fully enclosed.
Plenty of room for cars.
Beds and pillows are VERY uncomfortable. For a holiday house, you'd expect some sort of quality and comfort - I mean when you're on holiday you are there to relax but it was impossible to sleep. I would recommend to bring your own pillows.
To the owners - I don't think it meets oh&s to use a piece of rope to replace a missing slat on a bed. The whole night it felt like I was sliding off the bed and you could feel every spring in the single beds. If the beds were decent it would have been a perfect stay. Also, there's no welcome book with instructions, just little notes left around the house which you could easily miss. Food and freezer had half eaten food in it and I think there night be a slight ant problem. The middle bedroom light would not turn on and then we got the fan working and couldn't turn it off all night. This is probably an easy fix or if we had some instructions, could have figured it out and this would not deter me from staying again, the house was lovely, just a little extra comfort would have been nice.
