Property Our apartment is Unit 1 on the lower floor in the Stirling Building and it is one of the oldest buildings in Glenelg. Built in 1880 as 2 townhouses it underwent a facelift around 1940 to be made into 5 apartments and sweeping external staircases where built. The property has an art decor building now. We have decorated our apartment to combine the heritage and design feature over the life of the building, of course adding the desired modern features now.

Fabulous heritage home in great location close to beach, shopping strip, restaurants and cafes. Great hosts who provided clear check in instructions, off-street parking and ample clean linen. Easy bus ride into Adelaide City for a trip to the theatre.
Absolutely loved staying here. The hosts were very helpful throughout. The property is beautifully maintained. Very clean. Loads of extras that really made the place a home away from home. Loved having the beach up the road for some evening walks and the hustle and bustle of Jetty Road is just a short walk away. We would definitely stay there again should it be available when next we visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place was just fantastic for any kind of stay.
Close to the beach, small walk to public transport and shops
An excellent property. Spacious, comfortable, clean and plenty of rooms to relax in. Wonderful location, near the beach and handy tram to the city. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A lovely restored home, within a short walk of the esplanade and beach, the tram to Adelaide, and the shops. Comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. It was a nice place to stay, we were here for over a week and wished we stayed longer.
Location was excellent and close to the beach and town. The house met all our needs and the one problem we had, the owner fixed quickly and efficiently. Will certainly recommend this house to others.

Kerry we are glad to hear you enjoyed our touch of heaven, as we also love the location and the high ceilings in the house.
A beautifully decorated and renovated apartment with all you need for a very comfortable stay. With 2 new bathrooms, one an ensuite, a new kitchen with everything you may need, and separate living areas, we would highly recommend Judy's apartment
As we were elderly, getting to a coffee shop or 7/11 store was difficult. Would like to see a (cook your own) breakfast package added (say 30 extra) - bread, butter, eggs and bacon and a couple of cereals. Having condiments and box of UHT milk provided was great. We bought our own coffee but this was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the heritage building. Very well renovated.
Walking distance to everything Glenelg shops and beach. Grand bedrooms, quirky spaces to hang, plenty of room to stash the travelling gear and no need to buy (and waste) consumables like gladwrap or washing powder. A real gem
Beautiful apartment with a hybrid of styles Victorian and Deco the bedrooms have a grand olde worlde feel with very high ceilings, beds are very comfortable the lounge room and kitchen are more art deco and very charming, home away from home, very close to beach and main shops in Glenelg. Judy is a lovely host, look forward to staying again next time I'm in Adelaide.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. It is large apartment in a great location.
Yes the apartment was built in the 1890's originally as a townhouse and has some lovely features. It was given a upgrade in the 1930's and we like the idea of adding to the feel of these bygone times.
Here for working holiday very relaxing and perfect location
