Wonderful base for our beachside and Mclaren Vale winery weekend away. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rear deck provides such a serene environment for meals. We had a fabulous time and will happily stay here again.

Apologies about the window. The previous tenants smashed the glass (accidentally) and we didnt realise the tradies that replaced the glass had left a note not to use. Was no doubt a safety precaution, particularly for children. If we had known we could have told you to open with care. And the new bathroom has a few extra things to finalise including the locks.
Glad to hear you had a great time.
Had a lovely wkend away with our young family. Kids loved playing in the yard and the short walk to the beach was a real winner. Owners lovely and flexible. Would stay again. Highly recommend

Thanks Benjamin. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and would love you to come again.
This stunning, beautifully presented and prepared home served us so very well for a family weekend. The location is incredible, easy walking distance from the beach, but out of the way of the throngs of cars on the esplanade on a summer's day. The home has everything you could hope for, and nights were silent and dark! Heaven.

Thanks so much Victoria.
Hope you can come again some time.
A wonderful cottage in the perfect Port Willunga location. So close to the beach and access to walking trails. We enjoyed walking to and from the beach easily and exploring the local area. The perfect base.
The cottage itself is lovely, spacious with all the amenities we needed for a family with 3 small kids. A big yard to burn off energy, a large well equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms. Would definitely come back again.

It was great to have Rachel and her family stay at Port Willunga House, and hope to see them again!
The house was exactly as described & just perfect for our family . The house is very well equipped from the kitchen to outdoor games, beach shade , bbq etc. We loved the short stroll to the beautiful beach, & hours spent on the shaded deck enjoying the bird life, G&T’s etc. Our little 2 years loved the large lawn area for ball games etc. We we’re blessed with fabulous weather much appreciated by our visiting UK family . The only thing missing was a coffee machine .
We’d love to stay again.
Thankyou Jane & Rodger
modest but very well appointed historical cottage with wooden floorboards, pressed tin ceilings, a small extension, modern kitchen and bathrooms. On a massive double block at the end of a one way road, the house feels rural, relaxing and private, the setting is luxurious. Overlooks an ephemeral creek and beautiful bushland that's full of birds and could be in the Barossa or the Flinders. Walk to the fabulous beaches on various shady tracks. Old and new floors are at different heights, with lots of little steps up and down, which isn't for everyone. But overall a peaceful heritage getaway close to Adelaide that feels miles from anywhere.

We loved hosting Tony who was hoping for a little break after a busy week. It looks like Pt Willunga House did the trick like it does for others. A good communicator, clean & tidy - would host again.
Jane and Simon were great to deal with in the lead up and during the stay. The house was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach and Star of Greece and all amenities . We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
This property worked really well for our girls weekend away. Comfortable beds, lots of cutlery and crockery in the kitchen, spent most of our time on the large deck overlooking the reserve. Very relaxing.
The hosts were obliging, communicative and flexible.
Lovely location. Quiet and close to the beach. Large block with lots of space for the kids.
Character rich cottage.
Beautiful setting with lovely walking trails and beach at your doorstep
Amazing location and comfy beds. The house was in need of a deep clean, especially since we were charged a pricey cleaning fee. The kitchen was in need of some basic updated items such as saucepans etc. Nevertheless, our family loved our short break and would stay again.
We had a wedding nearby and it was lovely to walk along the beach and return to this house. The location is fantastic and the house itself was nice and clean.

Great for families
We stayed for a week prior to Easter with three adults and here young kids and the lo station was perfect to enjoy a car-free holiday with a short walk to the beach along a no through road.
The historic house and large garden were perfect for the six of us with plenty of space for kids games and adults’ peace and quiet.
I’d recommend this place to any family seeking an easy beach holiday - we will be booking again for Christmas time!
