ANZAC VISITORS CENTRE: A 'must' see tourist attraction/personal point of interest. This was recently ranked 21 on the Worlds Lonely Planet list of accredited places of value to visit. This was built just recently to coincide with the 100 year Anzac Commemorations last year which attracted around 70,000 many people have come and gone since this time. A place that tells a story and takes you back in time.

Honest review
Please be aware you are booking only one room. All other areas are shared however these are exceptionaly clean. Don’t be intimidated by the rules book the host is lovely and behind every rule is an incident of thoughtlessness by a guest. breakfast, tea, coffee juice etc is the most generous I have ever seen. Including catering for allergies. We had a most enjoyable stay.

First outing after lockdown
This was so convenient for us as we had a new grandchild to welcome and spoil. We envisaged walking to visit, however unfortunately the weather did not support this. A wonderful week and so nice to actually be out of lockdown, safe practices observed.

Nice place, lots of potential
The website says there are two bedrooms but when we arrived apparently we had only booked one, so I ended up having to sleep on the couch. This could be clearer on the website. The facilities are well equipped and the place is kept clean. It's not a very private accommodation with the owner around.

Hi,
I have 5 children. 4 boys and a girl 31 - 24 have all flown the coop but we touch base every now and then.
I come from a farming background and still retain a love of the great outdoors.
Keen Garden & Gourmet Cook enthusiast.
I endeavour to keep up a healthy exercise and nutrition routine.
I love trying new experiences and adventures.
As we get older life is more about quality and not quantity.
I worked many years in the Community Services sector: Aged Care/Disabilities & Youth.
Raised plants and ran a nursery from home and markets over 20 years and love the seasonal changes in my garden all year round....especially Autumn!
Veggies and flowers interacting with one another.
I enjoy promoting healthy lifestyle options to my guests who are up for it....in regards to natural healthy food options.
I have recently got back into Birdwalks & Seminars (2020) on what is in our own backyard in and around Albany surrounds....first up migrating Shore Birds.
I love theatre and a broad range of music.
Definitely love a good workout when I have the time.
I'm a fairly philosophical person so you will see a bit of prose here and there and the name C'est La Vie.

I'm now giving back to the Community in promoting whatever Albany and surrounds have to offer around our unique coastline and great outdoors.
Look forward to helping you with your interests and having an enjoyable experience.

Why they chose this property

My youngest (son) was still going to school when I bought this property and I was looking for a corner block with views and no steps.
What a view!
King George Sound/Seppings Lake and views inclusive of Mount Adelaide (Anzac Visitors Centre) (Mount Clarence (Anzac Gallipoli Monument) 5 min drive,

The Kitchen/Dining Area I fell in love with instantly with the spacious surrounds and views of the great outdoors.

I do endeavour to supply luxury and comfort with all bedding and seating and many recommend me on this.

I have always loved white as well, it is refreshing and relaxing and I gradually add to what fits and makes it my home that is shared with guests.
A home away from home!

What makes this property unique

views say it all and the naturesong is something I crave for every time I have to go away..... keen to get home.
The design of the house was also admired by my son Jonathon ...a budding young Structural Architect... blends the old with the new.
No city traffic jams.
I still get the feel of being out in the great outdoors.
Nothing else matters!
Close walking distance to unique coastal walkways and King George Sound.
Bike/Walk trails
Middleton Beach.
Barbecues at Ayers park.
Cafes/Entertainment/Morning Paper & Cuppa Moment at Bay home baked bread/produce savoury and sweet. Selection of Wine and gourmet treats.
