Fisherman's Shack: 2 BR, 1 BA House in Jurien Bay, Sleeps 6

Sail across the ccccc’s with this affordable, cheerful, cozy and comfy coastal home. Built in the 1970's however inside the kitchen has recently been renovated. It has just 2 bedrooms, one for mum and dad, and one for the kids, but is fully equipped with everything you need.

The lounge room and bedrooms have recently been repainted and outfitted with a gorgeous beachy theme. The loungeroom has an aircon which flows just nicely to the rest of the home. 2 lounge chairs for lazing in front of the flat screen TV. There are even a few board games for those rainy days.

The kitchen has recently been renovated with new cabinetry, stove/oven BRAND NEW Fridge/Freezer and even a dishwasher! A small microwave along with all utensils and dishes complete the kitchen with a dining area at the end.

The huge backyard is not grassy but has room for the children to run around, or maybe you need somewhere to park your titanic boat!

There is now a Baby Weber Q out the back.

Just around the corner from Jurien Bay’s old skate park, with playground, skate ramps and a half basketball court with hoop.

An awesome swimming beach, and where the skydivers land is just at the end of Hastings St and Memorial Park has free BBQs. You can fish from this part of the beach too.

The main jetty is only a short walk from Hastings Street beach along the Turquoise Coast Way.

Perfect for a small family looking for a cheap getaway. Or a couple of fishermen who don't mind sharing.

Some consumables such as toilet paper, are provided on arrival only. You may be required to purchase extra during your stay.

Sleeps up to 6 guests. (4 adults max.)
All bed linens, pillows and bath towels are provided as a cleaning fee. Please BYO Beach Towels.

We loved our stay in Jurien but definitely NOT in this house.

This house had not been cleaned prior to our arrival but can see why Sarah won her recent award. As soon as I rang she had an alternative ready to go. We probably would have booked second house if I had of seen it. Luv your work Sarah!

Says pet friendly but dogs have to stay outside

I am shocked because the property said pet friendly! But then stated dogs have to stay outside at all times! The bbq was very unclean and worn. Sofas were uncomfortable and covered in hairs and crumbs. Found 2 pieces of broken glass on the floor, cooker hob igniter wasn’t working. It was mainly clean and we enjoyed our stay as it was very near the beach and we had a relaxing time thank you.

Walking distance to the beach, 4 minutes drive to harbour activities and the place had everything we needed. The only downside is wifi, but we found a work around, courtesy of the teen in the group.

The only issue we had was the gas burners on the stove top needed to be lit manually and we had to go out in search of matches pr a lighter before we could start cooking our meal. The knives also need some sharpening but other than that we were very satisfied with the accommodation and will definitely look at booking Fisherman's Shack for our next visit to Jurien Bay.

Reviewer Comments: As stated property was professional cleaned however found full rubbish bag which has attracted ants. Ash tray on front veranda not empty from previous tenant. We found lounge chairs held up with bricks. So saying all that we had the best weekend. Kitchen very well equipped. Shower had great pressure. We could have done with extra loo paper and a couple extra tea towels. Will be back hope that these small issues can be resolved.

It is a shack!

This place has a fabulous new well equipped kitchen and good TV but everything else needs updating. Furniture and double bed uncomfortable. Clean though which was good

Simple but perfect

The property is a simple one that was perfect for our needs. A quick stroll to the beach. A short drive to the supermarket and eateries. All in all it was a fantastic location and was just what we wanted.

Cheap and cheerful

We had a lovely Easter break the house is in a great location very close to the beach. The house was very clean and as from the photos and the price you pay basic but has everything you need. The front garden was perfect for the kids to play and the back good for the dogs.

Exactly what we needed

Went for a weekend fishing trip and the house did not disappoint. Exactly what we were looking for. Has everything you need and the property management were so easy to work with. Would definitely stay again.
