We stayed here when visiting our daughter at college. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a day of board games, hot tubing, and relaxation. Very clean and nice hosts
We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable home. It was a perfect location to visit the San Juan’s, Deception Pass and Mt. Baker areas. Comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen and warm hot tub made for a great two days! Would stay here again.
Very nice home. Comfortable, convenient to tulip festival. We brought 2 grandchildren and they were each able to have their own room. That was a plus. Would definitely stay here again.
Co-workers/Friends from Idaho attending the Tulip Festival. Maplehurst Farm Guest House was well stocked, and furnished with everything we needed. Beautiful setting, quiet, and short distance to the places we wanted to see. We highly recommend staying here.
So refreshing to find this house where the host makes the stay seamless. All the little things were there on arrival— paper towels, coffee, creamers in fridge, plenty of towels, etc.
A quiet peaceful stay with a killer view of Mt. Baker. Owner was fabulous to work with & communicated promptly and clearly.
I would definitely stay here again.
We were in town for the Tulip Festival and this was the perfect location. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape from the second story. The VRBO had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.
Downtown Mount Veron was delightful. We enjoyed antique stores and eating at the Calico Cupboard for breakfast before visiting the tulip farms. Looking forward to visiting again!!
We only stayed one night but the accommodations were great. The beds were comfortable and the tulip theme was very fun and apropos. We also appreciated the coffee and tea that was provided. Loved the view of the fields and the Snow Geese were a wonderful surprise addition. Did not have time to try the hot tub but there was another family downstairs so that might have been awkward anyway. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Disappointed
Within 2 hours of arriving I was sitting outside. Owners dog came over destroyed personal items and took others and wouldn’t give back. No apology, not one word!! You have to respect there property, yet they do not respect yours. Herassed with ATV drive buys the rest of our stay.Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

I am very sorry to hear that our neighbor’s lab puppy bothered you during your stay. We care very much about our valued guests and wish that you would have reached out to us about this during your stay. This was an isolated event; the puppy has a gated pen and a devoted owner, and we haven’t had any other issues or complaints regarding the puppy or neighbor before. We have talked to our neighbor about this situation, and they are committed to keeping their dog off our property and away from future guests. Our neighbor has 28 acres, and our guest house is a 1.7-acre property, so there is plenty of room for everyone to happily coexist.
We enjoyed our stay! It was peaceful and owners were quick to respond to any questions or needs before arrival and during our stay! We enjoyed the got tub and beautiful scenery in this area. Thank you for making the check in and check out easy! Perfect vacation! We were glad we stopped at the All Things Alpaca store down the road. We found some unique gifts and learned about alpacas and the area. Thank you for a memorable vacation at your home!
We rented the top story of the Guest House and I will say, I would do it again in an instant! The views are absolutely gorgeous and the house was just perfect for us and the 2 little grandkids. Every thing was clean and well appointed and comfortable! I knew I would need to hang around the house to babysit while their mama went off to all her bridesmaids duties and fun, but it felt like I was on vacation just being there! I had never been to this part of Washington and the Fall colors are amazing. Thanks again to our hosts who made sure we had everything we needed for a one year old. Cheers!
Our stay was only for one night but we enjoyed our time at the guesthouse. It was the perfect location for our trip to Mount Vernon and the guesthouse was very clean. The house had everything you might need, including ear plugs which was very helpful since I forgot to pack mine! Given how hard it can be to clean up with two young kids, I appreciated that the only check-out instruction was to leave the key on the counter. We'd definitely stay at the guesthouse again!
We came here from Seattle just to get away from our crazy urban routines. Jeff is very responsive and on top of our inquiry. His wife even walked over some foil paper when we ran out 🤗. No concern in the cleanliness as the place is sparkling clean. Will return in the future.
Peaceful. What a lovely setting. Beautiful views of Mount Baker. We had everything we needed and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The raspberries from their farm were delicious!
We really enjoyed our stay - plenty of room, clean, comfortable- nice to have decks and hot tub. There are gorgeous green fields, mountains, gardens- we even had a double rainbow. Close to town. Hosts were very responsive (needed pepper and they brought it over)-if you are cooking, bring condiments. Walls are thin so they provide earplugs. We had no problem with another family being downstairs but I suppose if you are mismatched (i.e. baby/partiers) you’d have to work it out ;)

About the host
Hosted by Jeffrey Anderson
My wife Jessie and I were both raised in the Skagit Valley. We love the natural beauty of the area and are grateful to have so many family and friends that live nearby. We are honored for the opportunity to welcome new guests to our lovely Maplehurst Farm Guest House! We are happy to answer questions and serve as a guide to our valued clients.
Why they chose this property
We purchased the Maplehurst Farm Guest House in 2016 as an addition to our Maplehurst Farm venue, that we purchased in 2008, where we host special events. Our family resides in the historic mansion at our Maplehurst Farm venue property, and we have 6.25 acres total. We have 2 young daughters and feel very lucky to work from home while raising them. We encourage you to stay at our Guest House and experience all that the majestic Skagit Valley has to offer visitors.
What makes this property unique
The Maplehurst Farm Guest House sits on 1.25 park-like acres, and features 3 large decks with stunning views of Mount Baker, the Skagit Valley hills and farmland, and the Skagit River Bank and trees. Eagles nest in the old growth cottonwood trees that line the riverbank, and we often see them sitting in their nests, trees and flying around the property. There are also owls, blue herron, snow geese, swans, and many other unique birds and animals that live in our neighborhood. The Skagit River dikes provide a lovely pathway for jogging, walking, biking and taking in views of the Skagit River and banks. We are just a few miles south of downtown Mount Vernon where there are many lovely shops, restaurants, and the Historic Lincoln Theater. We are just a few miles north of the town of Conway where there are several antique stores, pubs and farm stands. We are 1 hour north of Seattle, 35 minutes south of Bellingham, and 1 hour south of the Canadian border.
