About this property

Yarra Valley Vineyard Cottage - premier location with spectacular views.

Beautiful, bright and lovely cottage set amongst a stunning Yarra Valley vineyard. Within walking distance to premier wineries, food hubs and concerts, such as Coldstream Hills, Yarra Yering, Medhurst and Oakridge, and an 8 minute drive to Coombe and Healesville.

The cottage has a gorgeous open living kitchen, dining and sitting room. There is a new bathroom with separate bath and shower, two toilets, generous bedrooms with two queen size beds and luxury linen.

The cottage also has a sunroom with option to request for sofa double bed to be set up with luxury linen for guests (extra $70 per person per night).

*** Sofa bed area remains a sunroom unless 5 guests are selected at the time of booking, in which case the sofa bed will automatically be added. For bookings of 1- 4 people, the sofa bed will only be set up upon request.

Opening on to back deck, edged with vegetable, herb and flower garden, there is also a laundry with washing machine and dryer. Outdoor bath and shower overlooking the vineyard and hills beyond provide relaxing 'en plein air' bathing.

Back deck and front verandah catch the morning and afternoon sun respectively for coffee or a cold ale, g&t, or glass of wine.

Inspired by musicians, writers, teachers, designers, and farmers who have all lived in the cottage over four generations, the cottage is private, and surrounded by vines and rolling pastures. The views are sensational and the vibe is relaxing. The owners currently live on the property so are always just a phone call away.

This beautiful getaway is only one hour from Melbourne. Lilydale airport is only a 10 minute drive away for those who would like airport access.

No pets...this is a working cattle, sheep and vineyard property. No large functions.

We want to make your stay as comfortable and as relaxed as possible. In light of current health requirements we wish to reassure you that, before each stay, the cottage is given a deep clean by professional cleaners, and all linen is professionally laundered. Spectacular location with super short drives to terrific wineries (and about 12 minutes to Healsville). Lovely modern property, two great bedrooms, solid wi-fi and a wonderful open kitchen. Jenny was great to deal with and we really appreciated the welcome bread/eggs. Well worth your time in the Yarra Valley.

I absolutely loved the cottage and the picturesque views - it was a perfect escape. The attention to detail was exceptional, and everything from the furnishings to the finishes felt simple yet luxurious and so tastefully chosen. Peaceful escape

THE place to stay in the heart of the Yarra Valley.

Thanks to Jenny & Chris for looking after us so well. A beautiful place we called home for a couple of nights. Stocked with everything you need from a bed and breakfast. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, amazing shower, local product as treats and fresh flowers, makes for a must visit. We both had such a relaxing stay and can’t wait to get back there.

Spacious accommodation presented immaculately and thoughtfully. Situated by itself on an operating farm between the cattle and the vines - thus quiet and private. Cosy in early August and would be even better in milder weather. Great hospitality. We stayed two nights and loved it.

Stunning Yarra location, with exquisitely tasted home.

Upon arrival at the cottage we were met by Jennifer, and a wonderful spread of local fare. The cottage was spacious, clean and every detail had a classy feel. Comfortable beds, and to be woken with views of vineyards and Angus cattle was magnificent. We would not hesitate to book again if we were in the Yarra valley.

A little piece of paradise!

We loved this property so much! It felt homely and was quiet and private. Wonderful big bathroom and bedrooms with quality bed linen. The added touches of a fireplace ready to light, lovely toiletries, local produce and fresh flowers just added to such a lovely atmosphere. The garden and surrounding views were beautiful and Jenny was so kind in making our stay a wonderful one. We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Jenny’s little cottage was perfect for our family of four. Beautifully appointed, with everything we could ask for including the basket of local produce and the hidden outdoor shower (!) Winery weekend get away

This cottage is so lovely, and Jenny was the perfect host. (Even bringing us figs from her tree). We had such a great time, laughing, chatting and drinking wine in front of the open fire. In the morning, we woke up to the view of cows and vineyard. We will be back. We all wished we could move in! 😊

A beautiful cottage nestled in the countryside

We had a really lovely time at the cottage. It is really clean, and in a very beautiful location. The day was hot when we checked in, but Jenny even had the air conditioning on so that we got instant relief once we got in. 2 days later, the weather was really cold so we opted to get the heater going, and the place was equally cosy when needed. Dishwasher, fridge, bathroom and bedrooms were all clean, our stay was a pleasure.

The best getaway a family could wish for.

We were lucky enough to book this for a few nights before returning to our busy work schedules in January. This farm house is ideal for a family getaway and absolutely stunning. It is extremely well-appointed with gorgeous decor, linen, a full kitchen and has everything we needed for the weekend. The host Jenny was welcoming with her communication, great to engage with and very responsive to our questions and requests including providing a cot and high chair. The location is ideal, on a working farm and vineyard and is an escape from the fast paced city. It was easy to get to surrounding cellar doors and vineyards. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back!
