Modern, spacious house right on the golf course

A group 8 of us stayed at Lomandra Retreat for a weekend in the Hunter. The house is spacious and comfortable. It is very relaxing to sit and watch the kangaroos as well as the golfers on the sixth hole.

Spacious and beautiful property

Stayed her with family over NY. Beautiful property, with great space and very clean. A few little things were damaged but didn't affect our stay. Only reason I have 4 but would have given 4.5 if possible. Lovely to have new Nineteen Bistro and Bar nearby. Super house for get together or as a bolt hole while exploring the local area.

Tranquil, Private, Peaceful

A clean modern home providing ample space for friends and family, with a double car garage. Tranquil outdoor area over looking the Vintage Golf Course. Phenomenal communal areas with butler's pantry in the open plan kitchen, and a media room.

Fabulous Weekend Away

Had a lovely stay at this property, well worth the price. Wish we could have stayed a couple of nights longer. Very clean, everything we needed was in the house plus more! Would definitely recommend this property. Just a couple of extremely minor things, locks were not working in the master bathroom and toilet. Garage door also needs to be fixed. These were definitely not deal breakers merely just to let the owner know. Thanks for a great weekend!!

Excellent place to Stay!

Great modern apartment with great facilities! Staff in booking were extremely helpful. We had an issue with our electricity and this was fixed quickly and efficiently by staff. Great location and overall would highly recommend the property to any groups looking to stay in the Hunter Valley in a central location.

Awesome house in a great location!

We had a great time at Lomandra over the weekend, girls enjoyed the serenity of the location over a glass of wine whilst sitting outdoors and boys enjoyed being so close to the golf course which they played on Saturday! We were also lucky enough to see a group of Kangaroos bounce past the house as we sat outside having brekkie on Sunday morning...amazing!

Gorgeous House!

An absolutely gorgeous house, perfect for our girls weekend away. Only disappointment was that the house doesn't have wifi & the service is terrible. Would definitely stay again!
Response from VrboOwner on 31 Mar, 2020
Thanks Dominique, we couldn't agree more, the house is gorgeous! Being a rural area, wifi services across the Hunter Valley are challenging and in some areas, not available. We do recommend guests use the club facilities onsite where there is great coverage or alternatively, bring a personal 4G dongle. Hope to host you again very soon, Hunter Valley Stays
