Kitchen was fine, just needed a few better cooking utensils, ie a couple of small pots.The back yard was great, nice and big for our 2 dogs.Very clean.All round good house for a little getaway.

Family weekend

The house was warm and comfortable and well set up for the five of us. The grandchildren enjoyed the back garden area. Situated close to places we were attending for the weekend, and within walking distance to the main shopping area of Barwon Heads. An enjoyable stay.

Labor Day Long Weekend 2020

Enjoyed our stay here with the Family and our dog for the long weekend it was a clean , comfortable and well equipped house , very comfortable beds and a great secure backyard for children and animals, we would definitely recommend it .

Great stay in ideal location

Very relaxed and easy place to stay with everything needed for this. Easy to communicate with. Would have loved some wood for the fire but that is nitpicking. Just a little way out of the main township if you wanted to be in walking distance.

Summer trip with the girls

We had a great stay in Barwon heads. Walked into town a few times. House had everything we needed. Could do with some upgrades but we were still very happy. Thank you.

Our relaxing holiday

As friends, all over 80 ,we found your family orientated holiday home a very relaxing retreat. We used it as a base to explore the Bellarine and rekindle memories of past holidays . We were very grateful for the efficient air conditioner on the extremely hot afternoons of our recent stay. Thank you very much

A great family holiday house

This house has everything a family needs. There’s a playroom for young kids as well as a lovely big garden to run around in. The beds were very comfortable. The heating, including a wood heater, was very warm. The kitchen was very well equipped. Chris is a great host and very quick to respond to enquires. We had a wonderful stay! Gail and family

Just not quite right

This property is a lovely old 40s style home. But it's need of a real good cleanup and some TLC. The bunk beds are not really great. Okay for kids I guess. We enjoyed Barwon Heads and the surrounding area.

Place needs updated

Mattress and pillows too soft. Feel neck and shoulders pain in the morning. The rear toilet is leaking water at the base .Shower base slippery and needs a mat and a rail for older people. Not enough appropriate glasses to drink water, a whisky or gin. Overall,needs to be updated including carpet replaced.

Did the job!

We were after a place that was close to town and wouldn't cost us an arm and leg which is tough to find in Barwon heads these days. Place was really lovely and was perfect for the 2 nights we needed a bed. We made good use of the wood fire to keep warm. No problems recommending the place to anyone.

Lovely short stay

Thanks Chris. Great little house for our family of 7 (inc the dog) Love Barwon heads. Had everything we needed and particularly appreciated the little extra's. Things like soap, plenty of toilet paper, condiments etc. Just makes life much easier when those things are supplied. Had a nice warm fire, one night too. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

Great spot for a holiday on the Belarine. The house is exactly what it says on the listing. Nothing flash but perfect for what we needed. Will be back to stay again. Thanks.
