Unique, private cottage overlooking one of the best river locations Barham NSW has to offer. Please note no pets
This 3 bedroom cottage has all the amenities normally found in a family home - split system air conditioning and a wood heater add to the comfort.
The cottage is part of our lifestyle property where we live on 30 acres and has direct access to the Murray River and red gum forests. It is about 10km from the township of Barham NSW.
Birdlife abounds - kookaburras, finches, rosellas, babblers. The state forest is right next door ready for exploring on foot or by bike. Or perhaps you might feel like an evening paddle on the Murray river.
Pastimes may include bird watching, bushwalking, bike riding, canoeing and fishing.
Linen & towels are provided.
Guests will have access to the cottage and surrounds, including undercover parking.
No tents, swags, campervans or caravans - the cottage is only suitable for 6 guests.
As this is a natural environment boarded by the Murray River and there is no fencing around the house or along the River EXTRA CARE is required by guests with small children - especially toddlers.

Accommodation

The cottage consists of 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has 1xQueen size bed, bedroom 2 has 1xQueen size bed and 1xsingle bed, bedroom 3 has 1xking single bed. The bathroom has a huge shower, bath and laundry facilities. The living area is open plan with a large kitchen and cosy dining room and lounge with a wood heater. With a BBQ and outdoor setting al fresco dining is easy.

Excellent, Comfortable & Relaxing!!

Excellent stay!! Owners and Robbie were friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was clean and the owners stocked everything we needed to enjoy our stay and more!! Plenty of space and love how close the river was to the house which made for great fishing. Also the fire pit and good supply of firewood was great!!

A great quiet get away cottage

This is our second time staying here after the first time 5 years ago and my family had an even more fantastic time. The cottage is very clean and is the most equipped place we have ever stayed. It has everything u can think of and even more. Plenty of space and a well maintained lawn for the kids to run around and play games. Awesome fire pit right by the river with a great view of the river. We enjoyed the warmth of the fire while watching our rods in the river. We even caught a nice 42 cm Murray Cod out of season, which we had to throw back. Once again thank you Bill, Karen and Rob. Ps. Rob (pet dog) is good boy, very well behaved and kept the kids company.

Inviting, warm home.

The instructions to find the property was great, but would also like the actual address as google maps is helpful too! I loved that you could park in the carport and that the fire was going when we arrived. The home had everything you could possibly need when away from home. We had a lovely stay.

This property is everything we expected and more. Quiet, peaceful and right on the Murray. The house is beautifully presented. Fishing was fun and the bird life is amazing. Close enough to Barham to sample the local wares and food. Karin and Bill are excellent hosts. Highly recommended.

Such a Fantastic Stay tucked up on the Murray River! With complete River frontage Great Fishing!

A Peaceful Delight

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Having the river right there on the property was such a treat. We spent alot of time at the firepit while we were fishing. It was a bit cold while we were there but my husband still managed to catch a small cod. We will definitely be back in the warmer months to hopefully catch more fish.

Was even better than it looked on the internet. Fantastic surroundings, very comfortable house.

Was the perfect location to get away from everything, was peaceful in lovely surroundings and very clean and comfortable accommodation. Would highly recommend it to any one wanting a break from it all.
