About this property

Jimna "The Old School" Holiday House

Set on 2.5ha of private, peaceful bush on the outskirts of the tiny, early Australian village of Jimna, 1.5 to 2 hours north of Brisbane in the Somerset region. Fire pit, star filled night skies, birdsong, native animals, bush walking, tennis, basketball, kid's fort and sandpit. Books, board games, in house movies and the peace and serenity of nature. A safe and healthy environment. Fenced property.

Look for the platypus in Yabba Creek, visit the Jimna Fire Tower, go mountain biking or 4WDriving, or just sit and relax in the silence of the bush.

The "Principal's House" is fully fitted out for you to enjoy an easy and comfortable holiday. Watch the kids in the playground while you drink tea or read on the front porch. Plenty of places to run free! Have a game of tennis and a BBQ with friends in the evening. There are 2 Queen beds, 2 singles and a double futon. Great kitchen table for cards and board games. Fully equipped kitchen with many appliances. BBQ supplied.

We bought this little bit of paradise from the previous owners who converted the old Jimna State School into a campground, holiday house and event's venue. We'd now like to offer the most comfortable and relaxing experience for individuals and families who'd like a holiday up in the mountains, out in the bush!
