Great location, great house

We had our Christmas holiday here and it was amazing. Great massive deck, cute garden and very good kitchen. The only downside is the double bed down stairs is very lumpy and hurt our backs. We changed rooms though and it was fine after that.

We’ll equipped property

The property had lots of beds and rooms, so we all felt like we had our own space. I think the property can sleep 10 people (including the sleep out) however we struggled to fit 4 (almost) adults in the lounge room to watch a movie. Great coffee machine and kitchen and outdoor space, I think the property would be AMAZING in summer.

Lovely home in secluded location

We had a lovely 12 night stay. The house is well equipped for families and in a quiet location. There are no pavements so it’s not ideal for walks with small children in prams, we needed to drive to the beach and surrounding places as there aren’t any cafes or shops in walking distance. The bush surrounds are stunning! The house was lovely, however probably in need of a good spring cleaning and there were a few minor maintenance issues that need addressing. Overall a great house for a big group if you’re after a quiet nature setting near the beach

No view but well positioned

Lovely outdoor sitting area. But, the tiny TV room can only fit 4 adults comfortably in a house that accommodates 12 people. Insufficient fans/aircon. Old AV system, so no Bluetooth speakers etc. No pantry and no view. However, it’s well positioned and takes 5minutes to walk to the beach. Easy to get supplies 10 minutes drive.

Lovely house for extended family getaway

Pros House was lovely and clean. Outdoor area was fabulous for a large group and kitchen was well equipped. Garden was well maintained and bunk house was great for the teens. Loved being able to sit outdoors in the cooler weather and have use of the outdoor heater. Cons My elderly parents came and was difficult using the stairs into the property as there was no handrails. Also the house is not in a great position. Right on the corner with cars flying down the road so you have to be very careful driving out of property. Also very noisy throughout the night with cars driving up and down that road.

Neighbours fence

The location was advertised as dog friendly, but it wasn’t . There is a wire fence between your property and the neighbours, they had two dogs that understandably barked whenever we came out onto the porch or the outhouse, which meant we couldn’t let our dog out in the morning, as the barking was constant. Therefore I had to take my dog for a walk to the beach each morning at 6am , so the rest of our family could sleep . Their porch also sits right on the fence line of your property, so if the dogs were in the garden or on their porch , they could see us and bark . I have absolutely no problem with dogs but I don’t think you should advertise this property as dog friendly. I was happy to get home and sleep as I was exhausted.

Very tired-not worth the money

Mouldy mattresses under bunks in outhouse- put under house by agent. Oven not working-agent promised to send someone out to fix but no one came. Inside main house really only accommodates 6 adults comfortably. The 2 living areas are not together & only one of them would just fit 6. The dining table would only fit 6 people-8 at a stretch. Upstairs bathroom & downstairs bathroom/laundry only has space to hang 1 bath towel each. Screen doors leading out to deck need replacing as they fall off the rails constantly. Sun lounges filthy- cannot sit on them. Rotting window sill in upstairs bathroom & front door extremely hard to open. Outside travertine near bedroom covered in mould? Screens & window sills filthy, especially the laundry door. Outside lounge area fab but is different to photos on the website. Lucky it was great weather as we could all sit out here together and chat/eat.Outside dining furniture setting very tired. The whole place needs a deep clean, de-clutter(2 chairs in front of fire in dining room-why when you cater to big groups?) a lick of paint, couches & bed heads cleaned. Lucky we did not need the outdoor heaters as they were rusted out. Sadly would not stay again at the price.

A very good property for a group or family booking with multiple independent spaces for everyone. Everything you could possibly need is included even down to firewood. Would suggest the owners have someone come in and clean out the front and rear outside gutters as they’re overflowing with an abundance of tree debris and would eventually rot the gutters as well as stop rain water from escaping. Nothing that affected us, just incase the owners were unaware. Instructions for the dryer would help as we had hit/miss getting it to stay on.Would highly recommend as great value for money.

Great Stay

The outdoor space was lovely. The space for the kids was great, and they made it their own for the weekend. The house was very clean, well presented, and worked for two families with kids. The only improvement I would suggest is to supply linen.

Great property!

Too much of an interrogation as to whether we were having a ‘Party’ at the initial booking stage. Felt uncomfortable. Great property for two seperate families. We really enjoyed our stay there. Trying to get the large bond back was also difficult.

Everyone was thrilled with our stay! It was the perfect size for a group of women on a little getaway from the city. Amazing entertaining areas, beautiful location, great sleep arrangements. 10/10 would book again.
