Place needs a few upgrades but overall a decent place to stay. Shower hot water was always an issue and washing dishes with cold water seems unsanitary. Dogs are really friendly and just want to be rubbed all over. Overall I would stay again.

Host is very excellent with communication. Quick response to questions and accommodating. Location is secluded, but also within close vicinity of hiking and scuba/snorkel destinations.If you are driving a vehicle yourself, 4x4 is highly recommend.

Great spot

This is a great 2 bedroom apartment. Large living space, great kitchen and beautiful huge balcony. Many beautiful plantings surround this space. We made good use of the lovely pool as well. Location is great for diving. We certainly enjoyed our stay , and would definitely stay again.

This is a hard one for us to rate. We are an older couple in our 70's and this was not an ideal place for us. Still, it is in a pretty setting, nice view of the ocean and reasonable comfortable. We had a couple of issues, the largest being the hot water heater for the shower failed and we did not have hot showers for 4 of our 7 days there. A new one was installed so presumably this will not be an issue in the future. The drive is very difficult to navigate, and a higher clearance all wheel drive vehicle is pretty much a necessity. GO SLOW. We damaged our rental when I failed to negotiate the drive properly...my fault, but beware! The location is not near many eating places, which are 15-20 minutes away, which was a negative for us.

Wonderful Christmas

We thoroughly enjoyed our three week Xmas holiday spent at Sibouli. A perfectly located, fully equipped house we used as a home base for our adventures. The on site presence of Cecile and Peter were incredibly helpful in all ways. They did so much for us. The pool was a welcome respite from our activities and a peaceful place to enjoy the sunset. We look forward to visiting with Cecile and Peter again.

A lovely place to stay for a few days

This was the perfect place for us. Clean, comfortable and off the beaten track (not hard for Dominica...). We didn't do much more than crash for the night after each hectic day of exploring and hiking, but this was a perfect place for that. Cool and comfortable with no mosquitos. All the equipment worked as it was meant to and the pool was especially enjoyable after a long day on our feet. We enjoyed having the animals around and Peter the caretaker was always available if help was required. Both of us were very happy with our choice and would certainly consider staying there again.

Very Relaxing

Very chill place Peter on sight and Michelle couldn’t be nicer. i really wanted to give this property a Five star rating couple of suggestions cut the bushes blocking the view to the sea it’s absolutely beautiful view and the road coming in get a couple of loads of gravel and grade it But other than that i will probably be back Thank you again Michele for sharing your property

Fantastic environment, comfortable home

We stayed 2 weeks with our family of 5. Very cozy and spacious house and porche. Kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the garden, and the gardener and housekeeper Peter and Hilroy were very caring and pleasant hosts. The environment is beautiful and quiet, with good mountain breezes and only few musquitos. Nice and clean swimming pool, very relaxed.Pointe Michel is a neat village, nice lay out, and best bakes at Joy's Snackette. We forgot to visit the local restaurant, but I definitely want to recommend Drop Anchor in Newtown, at the seaside. Only comment I should make is that in the same building there are two separate apartments, for 2-3 people. (downstairs and next door) This is not mentioned in the ad and it could lead to some reduced privacy.

Coin de paradis

Un petit coin de paradis avec vue sur la mer, jardin et piscine appréciable. Confirme à la description, propre et bien équipé. L’accès est tout de même difficile, mais nous conduit à la tranquillité. Nous avons été accueillis par Peter, qui nous a également guidé sur le sentier de Boiling Lake. Je le recommande sans hésiter. Merci Peter!

Super endroit calme et reposant! La maison est vraiment chouette , propre et bien aménagée Avec tout ce qu'il faut pour y passer un bon séjour ! La piscine en rentrant des randonnées c'est juste parfait...Peter le jardinier est très sympa et il est toujours là pour répondre à nos questions. Rita et Princesse les chiennes sont adorables mais font trop Bien leur travail et aboient un peu trop la nuit ( seul Bé mol du séjour)

Spacious with a beautiful view of the jungle and sea

We are currently staying in this beautiful guest house. It is very spacious and equipped with everything we need. Upon arrival it was clean and we were greeted by our gracious hosts. We're so happy we found this gem in the jungle. The best part is the huge covered porch with the amazing view of the jungle and sea. There's also a small pool which is very refreshing in the evening. Thank you for providing such a perfect place for us to stay during our visit to this magical island.
