The place was neat and clean. TV had a broken antenna which was fixed promptly but at times the TV pixelated badly. The place was advertised as a two bedroom but one bedroom was locked making a small apartment even smaller. Location was very good.
We enjoyed our short stay in Jan Juc for a family reunion. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was very convenient for the shops and the cliff walk.
Property was exactly as described, warm, clean and comfortable with interesting surfing themed decor. Pizza place next door served us well. Happy to recommend this accommodation to others
Great location - very comfortable and well
Presented - very clean

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Close to the beach and some good cafes close by with great coffee. The apartment was listed as 2 bedrooms and we believed we had booked and paid for 2 but the second bedroom was locked and inaccessible. The TV is really old and doesn't have all the free to air channels. There is no wi-fi so no options for streaming. The owner had someone CLIMB OVER THE BALCONY to attempt to close the balcony door when we were inside the apartment. The person did not identify themselves. We found this to be a huge invasion of privacy and it felt really creepy, like they were watching us.The bathroom needs some attention to fix the mould in the shower. The check-in was easy with the lock box at the door.

Thanks for your feedback Jacqui. The listing clearly notes that a booking for 2 guests allows access to one bedroom. If the second bedroom is required, an additional fee is charged. The listing also clearly notes there is no wifi. The "incident" involving the balcony doors was a result of the glass doors being left wide open during a large hail storm (noticed by me when I was driving past). A message was sent to you which you didnt respond to and no car was evident at the apartment, so to ensure the apartment remained secure and dry, we were trying to address the issue. I explained that to you when I spoke with you on the phone. Sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations.
Very nice and clean place to stay. Really loved the balcony look out. Great range of games and DVDs as well. Thank you so much Kerrie, would love to come back.

We have an awesome stay at Surfers Shack. The apartment was super clean with everything we needed. Right near the beach and cafes. Bed super comfy. AAA+
great accommodation, well located and accommodating host
This property is as its stated, a pretty and well-equipped surf shack positioned at the main complex of shops and a stones through from the beach and amazing views. The accommodation is clean, has beautiful views and has everything you might need for your stay. The host is very accommodating and quick to communicate if you need anything. I'd stay here again.

Great location, everything is just outside the front door. Apartment was clean and well appointed, wanted for nothing except perhaps tv reception to watch footy, loved the DVD options though
