About this property

Sandpiper is across the road from Lagoon Beach linked by a beautiful boardwalk. It's neighbours are Low Head Penguin Tours, Maritime Museum and Seafood Shack, East Beach, Low Head Lighthouse and Mt George Mountain Bike Trails. There are three spacious bedrooms, two of which are accessed by a unique spiral staircase. The house has an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. The house is private and has an open fire, sunroom and well equipped kitchen. Sandpiper has a main bedroom and bathroom downstairs, powder room upstairs and a spacious bathroom/ laundry which is great for washing off the sand. Outside the private backyard has a bbq and picnic table. Native animals and birds live in our garden.

Great place

We stayed while working in the area the house was very clean tidy and had everything we needed great place to stay. It is the 3rd time we've stayed will be back next year

Wonderful seaside cottage!

A delightful well appointed seaside cottage - everything we needed for our 4 night stay in beautiful Low Head. Immaculate, clean and tidy - highly recommend.

Our family loves to travel and have new adventures. We love surfing, diving, bike riding, and playing golf. Most of all we love being hosts and sharing our holiday home and Low Head with you.

Why they chose this property

Low Head Peninsula has a contrasting calm lagoon and a wild open beach. This house has a French feel with tall hedges and blue shutters. It is private, quiet and oh so pretty. The house is a beautiful home away from home with a marine theme. We have provided loads of books and games as well as wifi, bikes, beach toys, kayaks and lifejackets, surfboards, golf clubs and snorkelling kits for guests to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Sandpiper Beach House is surrounded by natural beauty. You can hear the penguins call in the evenings, you can see the lighthouse blinking at night from the balcony. The house has access straight across the road via the boardwalk to Lagoon Beach. Guests love to ride up to the lighthouse and stop by the Seafood Shack for coffee or fish and chips. It is an easy ride to Mt George Mountain bike trails. The house suits a large family or two small ones with two and a half bathrooms, a powder room upstairs and comfortable beds with spaces to chill out. The kitchen has everything you need to self cater. The bedrooms are quiet and spacious. Each bedroom has electric blankets, heaters, ceiling fans, stylish linen, choice of pillows, block out blinds and extra blankets. Sandpiper has a private garden and private backyard with a weber bbq, picnic table and chairs. Enjoy the birds and the native animals that visit.
