Johnny responded quickly with a couple of our requests and questions. Allowed us to check-in a bit early, which was greatly appreciated…The location was great for our group to take in a couple Athletics games.The unit was perfect for 3 couples. The unit was clean and well appointed. It was nice to be able to park one (medium sized) vehicle in the garage.The only cleanliness issue was it looked like the BBQ had not been cleaned or used in awhile. We had brought meat to put on the grill, but wasn’t able to. But, we found a fun, good bbq restaurant in its place, so it was all good!Really enjoyed the setup for our group!Thank you, Johnny!

The ceiling fans were enough to keep us cool, it wasn’t ridiculously hot this time of year. The water was trickling out of the fridge and they came and fixed it for us right away. Really appreciated that. The place could likely use a looksy into cabinets and drawers a little more often as there was a bunch of expired stuff in the cabinets likely left from other tenants. The idea seems nice, to leave coffee you don’t need to take home. But if it says best for March 2024, I’m probably not gonna use it, and I did toss it. Haha. Randomly there was only one fork but it was fine as our kids so mostly finger foods. The mattresses in the primary bedroom and one of the other bedrooms (a king bed and queen bed) could likely use a turn or a flip since they all sort of sink towards the middle now. And the third room with a king is super hard. :/ while we all did alright, I was often uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well. Everyone else in my family was alright though. It’s hard in general to be comfortable in VRBO’s or hotel beds. It was what we needed and it was clean and comfortable and I do recommend this place.

Thanks for a nice stay in Sacramento! The house was in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown, restaurants and shopping. We found the property to be very clean with comfortable beds. We wouldn't hesitate to book again for our next trip to Sacramento.

Perfect location and size for our needs

The house was great, but just needed some light bulbs replaced and WiFi directions. Overall, very clean and comfortable, I will definitely use this location when visiting family in the same neighborhood.

Second time we stayed there.

This was the second time we’ve stayed at this home. This is our go to when dropping our child off at school. It was very convenient to UC Davis and Sacramento airport. The place remained clean and well appointed. I went for jog and felt quite safe in the neighborhood. We plan to stay again next year!

Perfect for Sacramento and San Francisco!

This was the best VRBO we’ve stayed in! The description was accurate. Great location. Great house. Clean! There were plenty of household items for use such as dish soap, coffee, toilet paper, etc. Some places are stingy with these things but not this place! Would definitely stay here again.

Approximately 4hrs prior to check in I realized I was not provided check in information by the owner, most importantly lock box code #. After having my 16yr old double check dad’s computer illiteracy, it was confirmed that the information had not been received. I sent an email to the owner from the confirmation email from VRBO. After waiting approximately 1 hour, I left a voice message with the owner. Approx 1 hour later I left a second voice mail with the owner and approx an hour after that I called VRBO. After I established who I was with VRBO, they were able to get the owner on the call. I described my situation to the owner, who said he has someone else handle this for him. By this time, it was approximately 50min after check in. If the owner would have said “sorry about that” or shown any form of remorse, I would not be writing this review now. I received a text with the code from the owner 53 min after the 4pm check in, again no apology was in the content of the text. Attempting to gain access for our prepaid rental while trying to coordinate the transport of our 75yr old Nana from out of town was not fun. This didn’t ruin our 75yr birthday celebration weekend but it definitely didn't help the mood. The property was as described and very clean. My wife and I have used VRBO rentals for close to 30yrs, we both work full time and still have kids at home. I would venture to say communication can be more important than a view. I would not stay here again.

I apologize for your incovience we actually have a keypad lock that was damaged by the previous guest luckily we had a back up lockbox with a key, I’m glad you were able to access the property, I didn’t say I don’t deal with the code I said my phone was damaged it was a recipe for disaster that day , I asked if you were waiting at the door you said you hadn’t even arrived at the property yet , however we work very hard to provide you a clean property with the checkin code the day of reason being we have had guest try and check in early sometimes previous guest are not even out luckily in this case you only had a 50 minute delay which again wasn’t Ben a delay because your hadn’t even arrived yet , you mentioned you rent vacation rentals all the time your very fortunate for this being the worst issue you have had believe me there are horror stories out there and my properties and the best bang for you buck they are all in new communities and newly renovated. Imagine in we posted the code to the lockbox in the site and a previous guest try’s to access the property , there’s reason we do the things the way we do , I have been doing this 7 yrs never had a two star rating .
