About this property
The Jindabyne Lakehouse
One of only a handful of premium holiday let properties with true lake frontage and beach access, The Jindabyne Lakehouse is a destination in itself and perfect for big families!
Located a 6 minute drive from the centre of Jindabyne in the beautiful Tyrolean Village, this house is both peaceful and ideally located to enjoy the lake or the ski fields of Thredbo and Perisher.
A wonderful house both in winter and summer built to accommodate a large family, families with grown children and their partners or 2 families, this unique property offers 5 bedrooms, 2 with TV's for the kids when adults are relaxing.
Two King Sized beds make this a sumptuous retreat for couples and families wanting luxury and great holidays with friends and family, a third queen sized bed and a king single with a trundle (which lifts to become a king sized bed for couples) make this a safe option for young children where bunk beds are not a preferred option. Another queen bed with large wall mounted TV in the rumpus upstairs makes for a perfect kids retreat so adults can relax around the fire in winter or on the deck watching the sunset.
Quality paddle Boards and kayaks are available to add to this wonderful retreat location with a range of life vests for adult use and a table tennis table for everyone . Bring your own fire wood for the fire-pit and enjoy the starry nights of Jindabyne, toasting marshmallows.
Nothing has been left without thought in the furnishing of this beautiful home and we hope you find it as welcoming and comfortable as we do.
Enjoy this most beautiful of locations in the stunning Snowy Mountains Region.

Perfectly situated on the Lake and only minutes into town. Lots of space for a big group/ families. The kids enjoyed the supplied activities and equipment. Snow was only 30 mins away and the fishing was great too. Thanks Carole & Ian we will be back for sure.
We stayed here for 8 nights with our family of seven (two adults and five children) during our ski trip, and overall had a great stay. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well laid out, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax after long days on the slopes. The dedicated drying room was fantastic and made a huge difference for drying all of our ski gear each night. We also really appreciated the large slow cooker—it was perfect to put dinner on in the morning so we could come home to a hot meal after skiing. The lakefront location in East Jindabyne is beautiful, with lovely views and a peaceful setting. There were just a few things that could be improved. Considering the nightly rate of over 1,000, we felt the property could have been stocked more generously with essentials such as toilet paper and body wash, as the supplies provided didn’t last long at all. (This was made clear after booking)The TV in the main lounge area was also quite outdated and wasn’t a smart TV. We ended up connecting our laptop via HDMI so we could watch Kayo and the Formula 1. Technology isn’t a priority for us when we’re on holiday, but after long days on the slopes, it’s nice to relax together in the evenings. The property description also stated that Foxtel was available, however it wasn’t connected during our stay.Overall, a lovely, spacious home in a fantastic location and an excellent base for a family ski holiday.

Thank you so much for all your feedback and alerting us to the Foxtel and sundries issue, we love sharing the Jindabyne Lakehouse and hearing guests have had a wonderful time there and are grateful for feedback alerting us to issues.
I’ve spoken with the cleaning team, who are new with us.
Jindabyne is a challenge with providing cost effective accommodation, as is a captive market for cleaners, linen, gardening and maintenance and we absorb as many costs as we can hoping that between 10 people the cost per night is affordable, and we don’t need to increase rates, you can imagine this is a challenge in the current economy and we hope we see you back again sometime.
Thank you again for choosing to stay with us at The Jindabyne Lakehouse and taking the time for feedback 🙏
The Lakehouse is beautiful! Lovely location and a lovely house which fosters family fun,we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we have stayed there before and we will stay there again.
What a beautiful view and space to relax and unwind with the family. Early mornings in the lake, bushwalking in the national parks finished with drinks and dinner on the balcony - perfect!

The house was very pleasant and well equiped. We had a great time, Thank You!
This is a wonderful property. With the lake and nature reserve very close, allowed us to entertain our children and be with nature. The Kitchen and living areas are the best parts of the house and the ping-pong table. We had so much fun staying here.

Thanks Greg, so happy you loved the house and hope to see you again soon!
Well perched on lake jindabyne, your backyard is the sand and lake.
The house is located in a nice, quiet, suburban part of jindy. The configuration of the house allows for a comfortable stay for a large family. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you would want in a holiday home. The photos do not serve justice to the house, the backyard and patio area and view of lake jindabyne is amazing to wake up to.

Welcome to our home away from home - we are ski parents and spend every spare minute of winter in Jindabyne, hailing from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, we love all things water whether its falling as snow or in the ocean or lake and we hope you do too!
Why they chose this property
There is nothing better than being in a true family home, with spectacular views from every bedroom and living , dining and kitchen and every comfort of home at hand. With often a bonfire on Rainbow Beach and welcoming neighbors, this house will feel like home. Ski in winter, hike, bike ride and enjoy water sports in summer, enjoy a wine by the fire or a cuppa on the deck overlooking the lake... perfect looks like this!
What makes this property unique
With all new beds, two of them kingsize, new lounge sofas and chairs, and outdoor furniture this could be the cleanest, freshest house in Jindy and with a designated boot room and double garage with a table tennis table for the kids, its super comfy and welcomes people back again and again! This house is super warm and toasty with under floor heating, heaters in each bedroom and a gas fire.
