This private and peaceful setting is just a 2-minute drive from Kaiteriteri township and beach - hit the beach, hire kayaks and explore, and top up your holiday supplies. Abel Tasman National Park and Golden Bay are within driving distance for day trips, or simply settle in at Kaiteriteri and soak up the serenity.

There were insects in the kettle and there were several cockroaches inside. There was no HMI cable to connect the tv. Otherwise great place to stay.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you encountered insects during your stay as this is not the experience we want for our guests. Our local manager completed a full check of the home after your departure and did not find ants or cockroaches in the kettle. The home has been given an additional clean to ensure everything is fresh for future guests. The television does not require an HDMI cable to operate and is functioning normally. Big house.

Good for a large group, maybe two families although need to watch small children as areas of the garden might be quite dangerous. We booked just for two of us because it was a late booking and there was little available. Having paid the full price was a bit surprised to find only two towels in a house for 9 people. On asking for a spare towel was told ‘really short of linen especially towels’. Mostly clean but some issues. Generally house seems uncared for and but if you want ‘big’ it is OK

Peace and space

If you want a place on the beach this isn't for you. However if you don't mind a few minutes in a car then the peace and quiet, and space, make this a great place to stay (we are a sports team).
