This is the second year we've stayed at this property, and it remains amazing. The renovations have been completed on the cottage and they open up the space even further. Very relaxing weekend away, with dogs and friends.
An absolutey amazing place to stay and have a holiday. Beautiful landscape, amazing fire pit. The host is very hospitable by provide us with plenty of fire wood. Highly recommended!
This was our second stay and we loved it even more. Fantastic rooms and communal kitchen. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit on the cold nights and really feeling away from it all. Couldn’t ask for more - a great getaway.
We absolutely loved this place!
Perfect for a winters weekend, sitting by the fire, cooking food on the big bbq and playing tennis with friends. It was just what we all needed and will be back : )
Thanks for having us!
Loved staying at this quaint little cottage. Had the best of both worlds with modern conveniences and old fashioned charm. Was warm and cosy, and big enough for at least 2 families.

Excellent stay!
This place was perfect. Everything was very well prepared and catered for. The property is beautiful and having the cabins separated from the kitchen/living area is a great set up. The host left us to ourselves but was also very attentive to any questions. We will be going back to this place for sure.

thanks again alex for your stay with us. Please feel free to come again soon!
Loved the property, which has plenty to offer including comfort activities and peacefulness. The free range chickens, a couple of sheep left to roam around and a fantastic host was the icing on the cake!
I love this place. Second time I have stayed. Beautiful property, beautifully decorated house, very comfortable bedrooms and luxurious bath with a view. Pete's a great host. Love the fire pit. Looking forward to my third visit.
The place was fantastic we had 8 adults and a baby and there was plenty of spacw for everyon. The bathroom wasn't a worry only having one. Everything was kept really well and clean. The house was well stocked with whatever basics we needed. Definitely would recommend to people and we will be staying again.
Great host. Comfy rooms that were toasty warm on arrival and a charming rustic farm cottage. Cosy and warm even in mid June. We had a great weekend strumming guitars and kicking back. Would love to back when the weather's a bit warmer and hang out down by the dam.
We had a great time getting together with family from various states; taking time out to reconnect and chat and plan over wonderful meals, walks and times near the water. The farm also offered space for solitary walks and naps, reading or flipping a lure with gatherings over meals. We all loved our stay at Crooked Corner and hold it in mind for a return visit and are very grateful for the peaceful time provided. Thank you!
Loved our stay - gracious non intrusive host, wonderful instructions, dog allowed inside and not on furniture - enjoyed walking between the buildings and seeing all the stars - cosy fire and heaters for the cold, effective fans for the heat. I can safely say this was the first stay where not a thing in the kitchen was needed from home. One bar of Telstra at the cabin which meant digital quiet - perfect! Thanks for a wonderful stay
Kids from 5 to 19 y.o. loved their stay. Swimming every day, playing tennis, playing cricket, riding bikes, flying kites, playing soccer. Feeding chickens. Comfy beds with the smell of beautiful flowering plants off the verandah. Relaxing big bath tub. And all the essential amenities worked perfectly. Thanks Pete.
Our stay at Crooked Corner was truly memorable. We had a fabulous time utilising the tennis court, dam and open spaces. We loved the layout of the buildings and found all of the rooms to be comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were kept warm with the electric blankets, fire pit, heaters and slow combustion fire in the kitchen/dining room. The chickens were a hit with the kids and the fresh eggs were amazing. Our host Peter was great with communication and provided a really unique and refreshing experience for us all. We really look forward to staying again one day.
We stayed at this property for 5 days.We had originally had to cancel booking last year due to Covid and got 100% of our money back no problem. We were happy to finally get there this year and had a relaxing time.My older teenagers were happy with wifi, clean rooms and great family dining room.Electric blankets were a hit and the host (Peter) had lit the fire prior to our arrival so room was warm.Clean linen, accessible firewood and easy communication with host.He was lovely, non intrusive and we had no problem with security camera outside the main dining area.It made us feel safe. His dog "Jet" is a beautiful kelpie that made friends with our kelpies easily.Chickens were a hoot and tennis comp brilliant. We had mostly adults and 17 year old teenagers who would love to return for a relaxed winter holiday.
Overall we had nice farm holiday. There was lack of light in some areas. This place has a lot of potential some work can be put on to make it stand out. Our 9 year girls enjoyed it the most playing with chicken chasing them out and collecting eggs.
Peter has kept the place squeaky clean and the stay was really pleasant even for the kids, there were fun activities to engage in and that gave us a good precinct for a much deserved holiday
