We really enjoyed staying here, it is a great house thats very roomy and comfortable, we had 9 people there and it never felt crowded, we spent a lot of time on the verandah feeding the local birds.
Our workers enjoys there stay here - communication with owners was great and house had everything required. House was very spacious, which is important when workers are living and working together.
We had a wonderful family getaway to Gympie and our stay at 1021 made it extra special.
The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. Carmen had even gone to the trouble of leaving bread, milk, eggs and butter for us. It was a very thoughtful touch and a great start to our stay.
The house had a fully equipped kitchen, laundry with dryer and even a fire place! All the rooms but one had built in heaters/aircon. The two ensuites and separate bathroom were very convenient. All the rooms were made up and there was extra linen if needed.
The home was spacious and comfortable and the gardens were graced by wallabies which our Kiwi family found exciting :)
Carmen was easy to communicate with which made the whole stay go very smoothly.
Highly recommended.

The house was stunning, spacious, plenty of room for 10 of us without feeling crowded at all, and beautifully clean. It has loads of space inside and out with big verandas, wonderful fireplaces well stocked with wood, and plenty of seating. The house was very well appointed and the kitchen well stocked.
Our hosts were really considerate and helpful. We would definitely love to stay there again. Thanks heaps Ray and Carmen!
Carmen and Ray were excellent and responsive hosts. Their delightful house was enjoyed by all, we would very happily stay again.

Thank you Nicholas we are really happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for leaving the house so clean and tidy. Maybe we will see you again. Keep well. Carmen and Ray
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 1021 & would honestly say it was truly wonderful. Carmen and Ray were so welcoming and have thought of everything for their guests. The provisions that were left were an added bonus. Lovely comfortable bed, lounge with cozy fireplace, well equipped kitchen, and very relaxing deck with daybed. We were lucky enough to meet resident dog Xena and sight a mother wallaby with a joey in her pouch. Would love to visit again soon.

clean and peaceful stay
Unfortunately wifi not working and unable to be fixed. Phone service in area poor so unable to access email- no fault to owners. House really clean with everything we needed. Beautiful open living and great deck. We were visiting family in Gympie, it was lovely to have family dinners and have the space to catch up with family. Owners really helpful asked for a broom and 5 minutes later broom arrived. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be staying again.

Hi Katie, my response is a long time coming, apologies for that, only just found it.
You will be happy to know that the Internet issue has been fixed and the house has independent wifi now.
We are always updating things, so you might notice a few changes should you come to stay again.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Keep well.

It’s a little hard to respond when I don’t know what you liked and didn’t like about your stay or the property?
I am curious why 4 stars and not 5?
Could you let me know what didn’t work for you or what was amiss?
Cheers Carmen
