Cozy Cottage- 3 blocks from Main St., Walden, CO

This quaint, well maintained cabin/cottage is located just three blocks from Main Street, Walden, Colorado. Walden is in the heart of North Park, an outdoors man's paradise and the moose viewing capital of Colorado. The cabin is approximately 850 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is a pull-out couch to accommodate up to two additional people. The kitchen is fully furnished and an outdoor grill is available. A cozy gas fireplace is the main source of heat, but is only necessary during the cool fall nights and in throughout the winter months. The cabin was built in 1924, but has been well maintained and updated throughout the years. The cabin is also conveniently located one block from the town park and two blocks from the indoor swimming pool.
Steamboat Springs, Granby, and Laramie (WY) are an hour drive from Walden (weather dependent).

My friend and I came for a girls trip Labor Day weekend 2025 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "Cozy Cottage". It's exactly as listed and we were so glad we chose to stay there vs other places we'd seen. It was very cozy, fully furnished, and we felt very safe. We loved the town of Walden also. The hosts recommended Rita's for breakfast and it was amazing! I completely understand why they have return guests as we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. We were able to see multiple moose, including mommas, babies, and a bull. Lots of great fishing in the area as well. We ventured North to Riverside, West to Steamboat Springs, and South to Granby and Georgetown so Walden provided the perfect home base for all our adventures.

The house overall met all of our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and basics like spices, cleaning supplies and wrap. The beds were very comfortable and I especially appreciated all the lighting. Unlike most hotel rooms which are consistently dark, this house has overhead lights and table lamps which allowed us to read or play games anywhere in the room. The house is older and needs some TLC, but apart from that, it was perfect for our needs
