OJ's - luxury retreat minutes from shopping and restaurants

The new OJ's is a luxury retreat in the beautiful spa town of Daylesford, 50 metres from the main shopping centre with it's myriad of cafes, wine bars, award winning restaurants and shopping. A short stroll will take you to the lake, or you may like to try the hatted Lake House restaurant and wander back to your retreat. OJ’s can sleep 6-there is one queen bedroom, one double, as well as a king or if you prefer, twin. All beds have beautiful French linens, and electric blankets for those chilly Daylesford nights. The cosy lounge has a gas log fire, which makes the living areas nice & toasty. There is also air-con/heating in all the rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm, or just laze in the courtyard or on the deck and take in the beautiful views of Daylesford.

Jane was the perfect host for our brief stay at OJ's with her warm and welcoming personality.Her attention to detail to ensure everything was perfect for us was greatly appreciated. The home was beautifully appointed with quality furniture, manchester and items to use and we were pleasantly surprised as to the fully stocked larder and fridge in case we wanted to stay at home.The location was perfect, walking distance to the shops but away from the hustle and bustle of the main street.It is the perfect place to relax either by the fire indoors or in the quaint serene courtyard outdoors. We will definitely be coming back.

We loved everything about OJ’s! The house and gardens are beautiful, with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay in Daylesford. The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shops and restaurants, but also very quiet. Our host, Jane, was excellent, with good communication and a personal welcome and tour of the house. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to make a return visit soon.

Loved the house location and its set-up, and that the bedrooms had outer doors to one of the outdoor areas. Surprised that I used all 3 outdoor spots - side of the house, front porch to enjoy the view, and the bench seat in the back garden to enjoy some sunlight. The house itself is set up really well, and Jane (owner) was very easy to deal with. Very close to shops. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
