The property was in a perfect location. A quiet residential street with ample parking. It was only a 5 minute stroll to the beach, pubs, shops and cafes. It was extremely clean and very well equiped.

Thank you for your feedback! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay!
This unit was situated within minutes walking from the town centre and the icon is beach of Terrigal. The unit had everything you needed and was spacious and had a nice balcony to catch the morning sun.
The only negative was that we were not able to stay in the 3rd floor (kitchen, living room) much as there was no heat. In the mornings it was very cold and you had to wear a coat to be able to stay in room. Otherwise property was as advertized.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Sanctuary #12.
We have attended the property and have reset the air-conditioning on the top floor. Please always feel free to contact us if you encounter any issues during your stay so we can rectify this for you at the time.
We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Warm regards,

Good location, fine stay but take before and after photos!
Check in process was easy and office was close by. Office staff was lovely prior to check in and after.
Location is good, walking distance to everything and the property is nice.
Carpet had stains when we walked in and some light bulbs out so we took photos as soon as we walked in.
After leaving to check out we received a call that they were in a rush to get the place cleaned as the new guests were arriving. Cleaner arrived as we were leaving.
Everything was fine until check out, I was advised 3 days later an extra charge from the bond would be kept as “it look longer for the cleaners to clean” because the floors were sticky, there was a “sticky” mess on the wall (??) and all but one wine glass was left.
Can confirm our group did not steal or break the wine glasses, as we not only took out the rubbish but washed and left all glassware to dry on the side of the sink.
It was raining all weekend so if the tile downstairs was a bit dirtier, understandable but the sticky wall is baffling?
Have asked for photographic evidence of the “mess” and an itemised listing of the charges, have not yet received this. Would’ve been happy to pay if we had in fact created a “sticky” mess.
Had a similar experience with Accom
Holidays Ettalong earlier in the year where the shower shelf was apparently broken on the shower floor but we took after photos and could prove no glass was in the shower and was broken upon cleaning.
Pity that our experience was dampened by this as the team in the office were quite nice beforehand. A call back or proof would have been courteous.
Friendly people at accor and check in and out was good. There were cockaroaches on top level however and even though we were told up front so no complaints but I have never paid extra for bedding. Thanks guys

Great place, Accom Holidays were a pain
The property is great. Cute and ample for our needs as two adults and two teenagers.
It’s close to the beach and the main hub of Terrigal. Garage parking is difficult for size and angle reasons but we found street parking every day, even over the long weekend.
Called ahead to check on bed linen required and am happy to accept a misunderstanding on my part that left us without bed sheets. However, I was not happy that I called Accom Holiday Rentals after we arrived and was told twice that ‘someone will drop of towels for you shortly’ only for no one to turn up either time. Wasn’t about to wait in a third time so we resorted to using the beach towels we took instead.
Would recommend the property but would hope not to book through the same agent.

Thank you Lorraine, we appreciate your feedback and we do apologise for the inconvenience for you regarding the towels.
Nice property which is well located in Terrigal. No fans in the bedrooms or wifi would probably influence a return visit but a nice property all the same.
Overall we had very pleasant stay with easy access to beach and restaurants.
Only two issues were,
1. We found a broken glass in the bedroom so tried to vacuum but cordless vacuum cleaner was uncharged and couldn't find the charger.
2. When I booked the property I knew they will be charging bond to my credit card, however I did not know they will be writing down my credit card details (including CVV number) in their system :-(

Hi Daehan,
Thank you for your review and we are so glad you had a lovely stay at Sanctuary #12 over the long weekend. Apologies regarding the vaccum issue, I will pass along to the housekeeper that the glass was missed and to order an new vaccum charge if it has been lost. As for your card details - these would have been safely encrypted in our system allowing us to then refund your bond back to you on departure. They are then automatically cleared from the system. Please just let us know next time if you would rather pay eftpos or a cash bond and we can call you for bank details to return this to you after your departure. This process just takes a little longer to get the funds back to you.
the property was clean, central and well equipped with all that we needed for a weekend away.
We provided our own linen and towels, however it would have been nice if there were teatowels and handtowels provided.
