We really enjoyed the calm and peace we found in this lovely cottage, but also the closeness to the city, which is easily reached by the local ferry.Annie and John are very kind and generous hosts, who genuinely care about the comfort of their guests.We had a wonderful time and were sorry to leave. We highly recommend this rental property.

Very good stay at 'The Studio'. Its a very convenient location for Balmain Restaurants & Cafes. 'Hamish' our dog loved the dog 'off lead section ' at Mort Bay Park. Off street parking was a bonus. All in all if we come back to Sydney we will return to stay.

Upon arriving a little late at Studio 44 my daughter, dogs and I found ourselves in a lush garden with the twinkling of city lights in the distance. Awaiting inside the charming and historic cottage, complete with stained glass windows that welcomed beautiful natural light in the morning, was a comfortable bed, terrific shower and generous offerings of fruit, bread and wine. The area was so quiet, yet so connected to everything. Our hosts, John and Annie, were lovely and easy to communicate with at all times. So happy to have found this little gem. I hope to return for longer next time!

The cottage was comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped. It's a lovely setting in the garden with views. The hosts made me feel very welcome, also bringing me a thoughtful plate of fruit during my stay.
