About the host
Hosted by Roger Scott Sherman
Sue and I have lived in CB for most of over 50 years. As a Physician and Nurse we owned the Ski Area Clinic and worked at the ER in Gunnison. As such longtime locals, we had the pick of locations to build our home. Originally we owned the lot and and lived next door to this house for 30 years, eventually building the new house in 2020 on the adjacent lot. We’ve strived to give the house a warm feeling without cluttering it with personal memorabilia to allow our guests to infuse their own experience into their stay. In addition to raising our family in CB, we have been very active Back Country, Nordic, and Alpine skiers, Mountain bikers, climbers, kayakers, etc. As we've gotten older we've begun spending more time pursuing warm water activities such as Wing Foiling and OC1 paddling. Our time away from CB allows us to rent the house for a limited number of weeks during the winter and summer months.
Why they chose this property
This is the most unique and attractive neighborhood in CB. It has the feel of a rural enclave but only blocks from restaurants and shops.
