Perfect beginning to my holiday

I arrived late into Split and the wonderful hosts Tony and Ana arranged a driver to meet pick me up at the airport and bring me to the flat. Upon arrival into town, Ana met me at the driver and was so helpful with showing me around the neighborhood and getting me to my home for the next couple days. The location is perfect! So easy to walk everywhere and it is surrounded by some wonderful eating spots for morning, noon and night. Could not have asked for a better stay for my first time in Croatia - highly recommend grabbing this flat for your stay! You won't be disappointed!

Nice property

Everything was fine. The property owner had given us a contact by name of Ana who communicate with us in English.When we arrived Ana was there to explain to us all. But after that she simply vanished . We had messaged her a number of times for queries e.g we could not locate TV remote. But she simply never bothered to callor reply to our messages. But the property was superb and the location is great

Overly expensive city / not much to offer for us

The property manager was fantastic and communicative with us - helped us with parking as we unloaded the many bags we had. Apartment is cramped for family of 4 but very clean and well appointed (mini fridge included). Air conditioning did not seem to work properly as we were hot throughout the night. We visited a city beach during our short stay and it was very dirty and polluted (cigarette butts everywhere). Upon returning to apartment, we couldn’t find parking and paid 45 euro to park in a garage overnight, which is highway robbery. Split is a money grab - we don’t mind spending but it has to make sense. Ate at a pizza place where it was 95 euro for family of 4 (no alcohol was purchased). We were passing through but don’t plan on returning but encourage others to visit as they may have a different experience!
