Just minutes from some of the top wineries, tasting rooms, and world famous horse ranches and located within a few miles of the charming towns of Solvang, Los Olivos, and Santa Ynez.

The space, our peaceful farm retreat is on 5 acres with our horses, goats and dogs. Bring your bikes to explore the countryside, wineries and local towns. Enjoy the grounds on Coyote Creek Ranch whether it's a glass of wine or cup of coffee on the front porch, or watching the sunset and gazing at the horses out your back door. We are nestled right in the heart of things but it feels like you are out in the country.

Coming with family or friends for a special event, we are professional photographers and can help you capture the memories of your trip. Coyote Creek Ranch is a beautiful setting for that perfect photo. Be sure to inquire if you would want photography.

Coyote Creek Ranch is designed, furnished, and equipped with quality and your travel comfort in mind. We had a wonderful time here; the home is beautiful and well-appointed, and very large for hosting a good-sized group. It also feels so rural and remote for being just a few minutes from Solvang’s main street! We’d be thrilled to stay there again sometime!

Amazing getaway spot!

Absolutely loved this house and property! We had the best time and loved interacting with the animals. It was a beautiful farm oasis to get away from the city for a birthday girls trip.

We truly enjoyed JD's property. The backyard was beautiful. They were very accommodating turned on all the string lights and even brought us firewood. It was a great weekend away celebrating with our family.

Perfect for 65th birthday and family reunion

This place is absolutely beautiful and serene. It’s hidden away off a main road and you can really sit back and enjoy the location. Hosts JD and Keith were always responsive, friendly and gracious. Would recommend for any large parties looking for a peaceful stay in the countryside.

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday weekend with a large group of family members, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. JD and Kieth were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond by decorating for my special occasion, which made the weekend feel even more meaningful and personal.The home itself is warm, cozy, and instantly inviting. Waking up each morning to the peaceful sounds of the farm animals was such a refreshing change from city life and something we all really cherished. The property is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, while still being conveniently located near a small shopping center and local wineries.The layout of the home is fantastic for groups. The main ranch house was spacious and comfortable, and the small cottage in the back was perfect for anyone wanting a little extra privacy. It gave everyone their own space while still feeling connected.One of the highlights for us was being able to bring our dog. JD and Kieth are clearly animal lovers, and the fact that our dog was so welcome made the stay even more special. Our dog absolutely loved every minute of the adventure right along with us!We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special weekend. Thank you again, JD and Kieth, for an amazing stay—we would absolutely love to come back!

The most amazing hosts and home!

We went for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. Keith and JD were amazing hosts who were so communicative, gave great recommendations, and helped us the whole weekend like bringing more ice, setting up our fire, etc. The home is also in a great location with 7 Dalmatians and horses on the property! Can't recommend this place enough!

Great stay in wine country

We had a great stay at this wine country home. The owner was helpful and the home was great for my whole family, 6 adults and 2 children. There was a barbecue that we could use which worked out great with traveling with 2 young children. The location was great for getting to markets, downtown Solvang, wineries, and Los Olivos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The property is beautiful, well equipped and the owner set up a generous welcome. Three well set bedrooms plus a bunk room worked very well for our family of 8 adults and 2 young children. Location was spectacular for a series of wedding events in the area.

The host, JD, was there to welcome us when we arrived. The house is spacious and very welcoming - easy for a big group to be very comfortable. It is close to Solvang and the many activities of the beautiful area. Highly recommended!

Welcomed like family in the wine country!

JD's retreat is a home away from home. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel like family. The home is conveniently and centrally located and boasts well-curated and tasteful decor, complete with some enviable antiques! There's nothing precious about it though--it's inviting, comfortable and inspiring with plenty of room to spread out. Highly recommended!

Perfect House for Reunion

We loved our stay at JD & Keith’s amazing property. We’re a group of high school friends, all women in our 50s, and their house was the perfect place for our reunion and wine-tasting weekend. The house and grounds are beautiful and had everything we needed. The house is impeccably decorated, has comfy beds and an incredibly well appointed kitchen. Gorgeous property with horses & other animals. The hosts live on site and we’re so helpful and hospitable.
