Chez Mélanie offers a very clean "plunge pool" for your exclusive use. And you and your partner can enjoy the secluded, private and green life of the mountain, and still have the comfort and accessibility of the city. The vibrant town plaza is just a mile away.

Chez Mélanie are two chalets on the slope of Mt. Talinis, in the town of Valencia. The town is often called the "Tagaytay" (Manila's summer town) of Dumaguete because many who come to Siquijor, southern Cebu and Dumaguete, prefer to stay here, due to its cool weather. At the start or end of the day, you can wade in the plunge pool where water comes fresh from the mountain.

Each chalet at Chez Mélanie is rented separately. If Unit 2 is reserved already, try Unit 1 listed too in HomeAway, Each unit has a single but spacious and air-conditioned bedroom that can accommodate a couple, a modern bathroom with hot water shower, and is serviced by its own kitchenette. Wired Internet and WIFI is available too. An outdoor grill and gas stove is shared between two units. A large tower and water treatment system assure a strong pressure and flow of clean and fresh water.

Whether you like trekking to places like the majestic Casaroro falls, or hike for 3 days to traverse mountain peaks and hidden lakes of Mt. Talinis, eat at the nightly food stalls of the plaza or simply relax at the pool in-front of your bedroom, Chez Mélanez is your chalet, your home.

Nice quiet place in Valencia. Short drive to the plaza square. AC is for the bedroom only but a fan keeps a breeze going in the rest of the apartment.
