A peaceful getaway

My husband and I had an amazing time. The house was nice and warm and the shower was fantastic. The bed wasn't very comfortable for us but that is personal preference. We loved a visits from Buddy too.Best part is that it was out of town, close to the beach and town. Easy to navigate to other places from so really happy we stayed.

Rural retreat

What a lovely place to stay. I wanted peace and quiet and certainly got that. The chaise longue was a great place to read and relax. Thank you very much

A lovely property, in the countryside, a short distance from Oamaru

We just loved the property. Well set out with lovely countryside views. Fantastic sun rises and sunsets too and only a short drive to Oamaru.

Lovely property, perfect space for us and our gear. The kitchen was well stocked to our surprise right Dow to fresh eggs for our breakfast. Loved being in a rural setting and still only 10 minutes from the middle of Oamaru. Definitely recommend this property. Our host were on site but never intrusive.

Perfect holiday

Exceptional b&b . Always spotless and welcoming. Very peaceful in the countryside but only a few minutes from Oamaru. Always an enjoyable stay with friendly hosts and lovely friendly dog.

A peaceful little paradise

This was such a perfect spot to come and relax in. The view is spectacular, and just so quiet. The cottage had all that we needed. The shower is a good powerful one and our bed was so comfy. We'll be back when next down this way ❤️

Pastoral Idyll

Set in the rolling country just south of Oamaru, this north facing cottage has a wide panoramic vista. It is handy to both Oamaru and Kakanui. It was is easily heated for those cooler winter days. Excellent for a stress free stay.

Wonderful Sunset Cottage

We had a beautiful and peaceful stay in the cottage, which is close enough to town to be easy to get to but in lovely farmland which gives a sense of space. The amenities were great. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Very comfy beds and all you could want in the kitchen. Having a laundry was terrific. Andrea couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful and Buddy the dog is a gem. I highly recommend this lovely cottage.

Spendid spot

Super clean and tidy property. Easy check in and a lovely friendly dog that comes to visit. Yes its a bit out of town but the peace and quiet is worth it. Two couples comfortably stayed here and having a well appointed kitchen was great for cooking up a storm in the evening while gazing out the windows over the lush countryside. Its a feast for the eyes. Our thanks to the host.

a lovely place with lovely hosts

This clean, comfy, country cottage outside of Oamura had everything we needed. The hosts were lovely, quick to respond to emails and provide any extras (e.g., we borrowed an ironing board). We also enjoyed eating some eggs laid by their chickens and playing with Buddy, their friendly and well-behaved dog. The cottage is very close to a long beach and other areas for good walking. We especially loved sipping our wine while watching the sun set over the fields.

A comfortable stay,in peaceful surrounds.

A spacious cottage, very comfortable beds, everything plus in kitchen,good bathroom and laundry facilities. Extremely clean and well cared for Just far enough away from town, to enjoy quietness. Looks very beach nearby for a walk, and of course the town has a lot to offer. Recommend Duntroon, Elephant Rocks, as a side trip. Flying Pig Cafe excellent! Would highly recommend this cottage. Though anyone with mobility problems needs to be aware of a step at front and back door
