Come fall in love with The Coco Mermaid. A bright and stylish 2 level 2bd/1b/1g condo that sleeps 4. Located within the quaint community of Palms of Cove View in the quiet Campeche Cove neighborhood that is a short peaceful walk to the beach. With easy access to some of the islands finest dining and shopping. While you are here, take advantage of all that Galveston has to offer. Nestled behind the property is a bird sanctuary, great for bird watching. This place is perfect for families, couples, girl's getaways and business travelers seeking convenience and comfort. Pets are always welcome under 25lbs (2 pet minimum).


Renter must be a minimum age of 25. This is a 2-bedroom 1 bath two level condo with 1 car garage. All TVs have cable, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime access. The master has a comfortable queen size bed. 2nd room has 2 twin beds to accommodate 2 guests large and comfy enough for adults. Plenty of board games, coloring books and playing cards for the kids. Dining table seats 4. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea from our well stocked coffee & tea bar while sitting on the peaceful patio. Spa quality body wash, shampoo and fluffy towels are also provided along with a few kitchen staple items. We accept registered and vaccinated pets up to 25lbs. Maximum 2 pets. Self-check in and out. You will have full access to the Pool Area. Beach access just a shells throw away.


Courtesy Patrol on night duty. There are outside security cameras recording 24hrs in the breezeway between units, pool and parking lot for your safety.
Come stay where the waves kiss the shore and the magic of the mermaid lives on.

Friendly host and great house! Loved the number of towels provided- we swam in the ocean and pool a lot! Everything was well thought out, great kitchen, and games to play.

Stacy was very communicative throughout the process. House was clean and was just the right size for us to be in and not be crammed. Really nice location and the garage was easy to access to get our motorcycles in and out of. We didn’t get to use the pool (closed for the season) but it looked nice. Overall a good place to stay if you’re not looking for an expensive place to stay for the weekend.

Clean and comfortable condo

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay over Memorial weekend. Close enough to everything but tucked away when you are done with the crowds. The pool area is also kept nice and tidy and very relaxing. Would recommend and would stay again! Thank you Stacy, for being a thoughtful host and for your check-in/check-out texts! Great communication!

The pictures look much better than the condo. It needs a lot updating. It’s very loud when there’s people in the condo above this condo. I wouldn’t stay there again 😩

Sevin is definitely Sunny, and worth more than a 7

As described and no surprises, a home away from home with everything a traveler could either need or want. Stacey was very approachable as a host, we were traveling from the UK so some aspects of the user agreement could not be completed prior to arrival (we were renting a car so those details were unavailable.) But that did not stop the paperwork, Stacy worked around it. The house was quirky but that added to the charm and the fun, this is probably a better option for US travelers driving their own transportation, and bringing their own stuff and the many great comments in the visitor book support this aspect, but we had a great time, so close to the beach and the many amenities that Galverston Island has to offer. We had a fabulous time Stacy so thank you so much

TAMUG Family Weekend

Stacy was great making sure we had everything needed to check in. Condo was a bit further than we thought but easy to find and still close to beaches. Garage is meant for very small car, but we had parking options. You could tell condo was cleaned after last stay but floors were dusty and we found a few dead pests. Smart thermostat made keeping condo at comfortable temperature at night difficult. Was very warm. Overall good place to stay.

Awesome experience

Stacy was easy to work with. It was nice not to have to worry about brini g toilet paper, paper towles, trash bags. She even gad coffee and tea available. Everything was great. The condo was clean. The bed was awesome! Never ran out of hot water. Will stay there again!

Great excursion

Affordable and Enjoyable

We were in Galveston to visit family and the rental met our needs perfectly. The only negative thing I could say is that the small garage does not allow for a car to fit! We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

Short Galveston trip

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Nice property clean inside and nice atmosphere outside. Walked our dog around the grounds and close to beaches. Ate at Jimmy’s on the pier great burgers.

We enjoyed the comfy bed, keurig coffee provided & patio w our dog. Note: might want to bring kitchen towels since there were none. Bonus: washer & dryer in the unit. Food: picked up from Jimmy’s on the Pier, miller’s seawall Grill & Seahorse Grill in the neighborhood. Ate breakfast w our dog at Mosquito Cafe & dinner at Fish Tales. We changed our arrival & departure dates last minute without an issue from Stacy.

Nice condo with lots of amenities

Nice, clean condo for our family of 4. All the kitchen accessories we needed, and then some. We cooked most meals in so this was a plus. As others have mentioned, if there is a neighbor tenant, you can hear them walking/shutting doors. Had learned this from the comments section so it wasn't so shocking. Over a week period, probably heard them 10 times. Stacy was very responsive. We had a great stay!
