This beautiful new house is just a short walk or bicycle ride from the beaches. It offers a private living space, while being wide open to the river on the back porch. There is a beautiful beach and four uncrowded & amazing surf breaks within walking distance. This is one of the most relaxing vacations out there! The nearby restaurant Los Cardones Surf Eco Lodge offers yummy meals, therapeutic massages, yoga and surf. Your house has amenities such as air conditioning, a full kitchen, big open spaces, etc.

Long term stays welcome! Reliable internet, diverse shopping options and all services are available in Managua just 40 min away.

The Finca Del Mar trail is just steps away from the back porch. The trail leads to the beautiful uncrowded beach & also winds throughout the green areas of the community.

The house has an open floor plan with high cathedral ceilings. The generous overhangs and porches allow for the windows to stay open regardless of time of day or season.

Each patio offers several hammocks for lounging after a perfect surf session or delicious local meal. It also has a private outdoor shower for cooling off after the beach.


Finca Del Mar is a relaxed, comfortable coastal community on Nicaragua's beautiful Central Pacific Coast. Young, active outdoor-oriented individuals are drawn to Finca Del Mar's unique, environmentally conscious surroundings. Surfers and hikers, as well as fishing and nature enthusiasts, rave about this beautiful coast. Finca del Mar is located just 1 hour from the capital city of Managua and a short drive from the designer golf course of Gran Pacifica - yet it is worlds away from the bustle of modern life.


The community is on 100 acres of gentle landscape with the Sierras de Managua mountain range as beautiful backdrop in the distance. Finca Del Mar is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west & two pristine creeks and their shores of mangroves and tropical forest which are being preserved as an ecological green area.

We live in Austin, Texas and love to travel to new places and experience other parts of the world. Nicaragua is by far one of our favorite countries we have traveled to, so much so that we decided to buy a property there!

Why they chose this property

My family bought this home in 2011 after realizing how easy Nicaragua is to travel to and how beautiful and affordable it is once you are there. Casa Surfside is only 90 minutes from Managua airport and once you are at the house, a beach vacation could not be any better.

What makes this property unique

The home is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Nicaragua in walking distance to three of Nicaragua's top surf breaks. The lodge at Los Cardones is amazing for watching the sunset or enjoying a lazy beach afternoon. On top of that, the food is amazing!
