Unkept Home and Property

We arrived at the home and could immediately tell that this property was being attended to as a VRBO home. The trash bins were overflowing and the home was in dire need of a paint job. As we entered the home we noticed the floor was VERY sticky. My family got settled in and sat on the sofa which had never been cleaned. there was food in the crevices of the cushions. I then went out back since one of the descriptions was a great place to sit out back and watch the sunset. Opening the back door was a challenge since it was blocked by tree branches. I notified the host and asked if the trees can be trimmed and if we can discuss the refund of the cleaning fee since we had to mop and clean the home (we had 2 toddlers so it was imperative to have clean floors). The host sent me a hedge trimmer to trim the trees myself and never followed up on the fact that we had to clean the house, trim the trees, empty the overflowing trash bins or refund the cleaning fee. For the price of the stay, I would suggest they can do better. Definitely would not stay here again.

Living room was large and very clean, for 6 guys it’s perfect for us to either be watching tv from the couch or the kitchen. Bathrooms were clean and stocked and the beds were well made before we arrived, overall a nice stay and I recommend if you’re booking to hang out with friends or family.
