GITE TOURAINE LA CALOGNIERE IN SUBLAINES

Located 15 km from the Château de Chenonceau, we will welcome you in our cottage where you will appreciate the charm of our Tourangelle countryside.

Recently renovated by the owners and with a capacity of 8 beds, the cottage is equipped with all the necessary comfort to spend a pleasant stay with family or friends.

Our cottage is accessible by the A85 motorway, 2km from exit n ° 11 or by the departmental D31.

The cottage of Calognière is available for rent all year round. Consult our availability calendar now and come and discover the pleasures of Touraine.


Our cottage has a living room, a fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer) and 3 bedrooms (containing 3 double 140 beds + 2 single 90 beds and a sofa bed)

Comfortable, peaceful property with excellent pool

Well equipped comfortable property in a beautiful peaceful setting. Ideally situated for visiting the villages and chateaux of the rivers Loire and Cher. Lovely large pool to relax by.

Absolutely Perfect!

We have had an amazing vacation in this lovely house! The house contains everything one needs and more. Everything is clean and perfectly maintained (inside the house as well as outside). The kids really enjoyed the pool area, the table tennis and the swing. They also enjoyed visiting and feeding "Bromil" the donkey every day (aparantly his favorite food are banana peels). The house is located in the middle of the Loire Vally very close to the main Chateaus. There is a lovely small town a few minutes away with a great bakery and a supermarket. Henri the owner is the nicest person and did his best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We highly recommend! P.S. - unlike other reviews I read, the wifi was very good and we had no problems streaming Netflix

Great base for exploring and relaxing

We had a lovely stay at this property. Quiet rural area, property on Same site as owner who was available to answer any questions. Pool was lovely for a dip after a long day exploring local Chateaus. Plenty of space around property to play games on the grass, swim, petanque pitch. Local attractions include Amboise and a visit to the chateau. Highly recommend is a day visit to Zoo Beauval - World class. The Bird show is excellent. Local Supermarche is roughly 25minites drive in local town Blere. Local Boulangerie Des Roses about 10 minutes drive - go early to get croissants - also don't miss out on the meringues. Internet WiFi included but is very slow (1Mb down, 0.5Mb up) so don't expect to do much other than plan travel days. You need to use mobile data sometimes. So no streaming of movies etc is possible in the evening when kids go to bed. But there is plenty to do and this is only a small inconvenience. A great stay. Well recommended, and we would return in the future. Thanks Henri and Martine for hosting us.

Excellent location for those seeking the rural idyll but a car is essential. Facilities and comfort are good but the wifi was a touch flakey. The property was well presented and clean. The pool was excellent and the owners (present on site) respected our privacy although were there in the event of queries. All in all a very pleasant week's stay. We would book again if visiting the region.

Rust op het platteland!

Prachtige gite in een landelijke omgeving. Prima uitvalsbasis voor alle mooie stadjes en kastelen in de buurt. Ook een middagje aan het zwembad is zeker geen straf, rust en privacy! De ezel en de kippetjes en vers fruit uit de tuin zijn een mooie toegift. Huis is compleet en comfortabel, aanrader voor liefhebbers van het platteland.

Séjour au cœur des châteaux

Ce logement n’a que des qualités ! Impeccablement situé au cœur des plus beaux châteaux du Val de Loire, il nous a permis après des excursions culturelles de nous retrouver en famille autour de la table de la terrasse, de la piscine, du ping-pong, de la pétanque et aussi du barbecue. Des moments précieux passés ensemble, dans un calme absolu, accompagnés par le chant des oiseaux. Propriétaire à proximité, accueillant et réactif. Je recommande vivement.

Excellent séjour, maison spacieuse pour 3 couples, située dans un petit hameau calme. Hôtes très accueillants et extrêmement sympathiques. Nous avons adoré.

Très bon séjour malgré un temps mitigé Le gîte est bien situé pour les visites de Beauval et de nombŕeux châteaux autour. Les hôtes sont super gentils et à l 'écoute. Les enfants ont apprécié les extérieurs et la proximité de l'âne et des poules. A recommander . Sans oublier la propreté tres appréciable

Weinig op aan te merken, bij aankomst leidde meneer ons rond in het huis, gaf ons alle tip en tricks. proper huisje, alles in het huisje aanwezig. Winkel op 10 minuten rijden, kasteel dichtbij, de rest op een mooie afstand. Kids waren dolblij met het zwembad, gelukkig had het een 29 a 30graden (wij hadden helaas weinig zon) en wifi werkte perfect. ;-) Topper dus.

gite agreable, petit bemol: il manquerait une salle de bain

région agréable, avec en cette saison, des petits villages très fleuris. Egalemment de vastes étendues céréalières avec, à la fois, de grandes zones boisées. Très calme et reposant. Un très bon séjour pour nous, à recommander. Félicitations au propriétaire pour l'entretien de son entourage. Ainsi que ses trois poules et "Bourvil".

Nous n'avions pas encore eu ce genre de personne dans notre gîte. Aucun respect du règlement ,pour ne pas payez les frais de ménage, est partie en s'enfuyant. État du gîte retrouvé déplorable, housses de couettes souillées et à nettoyer,fil à linge cassé, piscine retrouvée sale pour peu d'ulilisation pourtant ,arrive avec une personne en plus sans prévenir .Les salutations d'usage lors de l'arrivée pratiquement inexistantes, nous avions compris que nous nous étions trompés sur cette réservation. Ne louez surtout surtout pas à Mme Romanos, sinon vous allez être déçu et vous remarquerez très vite que cette personne est habitée par le mensonge.

Tres jolie maison spacieuse avec grande piscine chauffée et jardin. Très propre, très bien équipé, il ne nous a manqué de rien. Très calme et reposant. Commerces de proximité nécessitant la voiture. Accueil très chaleureux. Super vacances . Nous recommandons.

Très beau séjour cadre et maison agréable

Nous avons passé une belle semaine dans un cadre calme et agréable. Nous avons bien apprécié la piscine par cette chaleur. Pleins de jolis petits villages à découvrir.
