30 DAY RENTAL*****A beautiful, peaceful, private north shore estate, 300 ft from sunset beach. The main house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and sleeps 8 in beds. You may rent the cottage for an additional 2 people-check availability-it's called the plantation cottage; cottage has one bath plus loft. (Cottage rents separately) Over 2000 square feet of covered lanai space including private porches off the cottage and master bedroom in the main house. Bouganvillea, hibiscus and jasmine abound amid a variety of fruit and avocado trees all surrounding an acre of open lawn. Surf right out front, or just relax. Play golf down the street at Turtle Bay, walk to Ted's Bakery, the Sunset Shack or Panda Thai, or cruise on bikes (need to rent separately), snorkel at Sharks Cove and shop at Foodland or enjoy the many food trucks. Surf across the street or anywhere along the coast that we call the "7 Mile Miracle". Swim with giant turtles, or stroll the art galleries and gift shops of historic Haleiwa town. Enjoy the beauty of sacred Waimea Valley, and swim in the waterfall. Watch the Wales in the winter months, beautiful evening sunsets, and amazing nightly stargazing as you walk the miles of uncrowded beaches that make up the North Shore. A personal experience with ALOHA!~!

Perfect North Shore Home

This was truly the most perfect vacation spot I could have ever imagined for this trip. The home itself is literally perfect, so beautiful & spacious inside with a huge yard. The location is also amazing, it’s nice to be able to just walk across the street to the beach. I’m already itching for another trip there!

Beautiful property

The house was lovely and eight of us had plenty of room to spread out. Cathy was very helpful and accommodating. The beach is right across the street and there are chairs and snorkeling equipment at the house. We spent a lot of time on the upstairs patio/lanai enjoying morning coffee or evening Beveridges. I highly recommend this property and would return in a heartbeat.

This property was amazing! It was exactly as pictured. It was clean and well appointed. It was a great place to relax with our Ohana from Oahu and the mainland. Also, many beach accessories in great condition were available to use on our short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Family Vacation

Our stay was fantastic. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us. We enjoyed the open area and lanai’s. It was just what we wanted. The beach was right across the street and many activities close by. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful house with plenty of outdoor space

We loved our stay here. As a multi generation family trip, this house has something for all ages. Our highlight was the upstairs screened in deck. We lived out there! It caught the cool trade winds on a hot day and was the most peaceful spot to read a book when the rain came.

This house is gorgeous with tons of space to spread out. The four beds and four baths were exactly what we needed. There are plenty of hang out spaces and lots of porches you can sit on and take in the beautiful yard and listen to the ocean. It was very clean, easy to find, and the owner was super easy to work with. We would highly recommend this property! Everything

Relaxing plantation home next to the beach

Our family of 4 and both sets of grandparents enjoyed this wonderful home on our vacation in Hawaii. The home was beautiful relaxing and very spacious! With 8 of us, it was large enough to have all of us together for meals and fun time, but also spacious enough that we could do our own things without getting in each others ways. Just across the street from the beach, we enjoyed lots of swimming and snorkeling and saw lots of beautiful sunsets!!

Gorgeous Plantation Style Home

This was property exceeded our expectations in size and beauty! The grounds on site were amazing! We even tried the fruit right from the Guava and Pomelo trees on site. Access to Shark’s Cove and 3 Tables for snorkeling and the beach right across the street for some fun in some huge waves I will never forget! The house was near Foodland, the local grocery store, and several places to eat. This was such a great location and off the beaten path for staying on the North Shore of Oahu!

North Shore Paradise

Our family of four loved this property. The house is very spacious and the grounds are beautiful. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a wonderful addition and made the nights very comfortable. The beach is literally across the street and we appreciated the beach chairs and towels that were provided. I absolutely can recommend this property, don’t hesitate on this one 😊

Southern plantation-like home on the north shore

What a lovely, private, sanctuary to have as a base for our Hawaiian adventure! The location is ideal for northern activities, and if you time your drives to southern locals, the traffic is manageable. We loved cooking together in the huge kitchen/great room with close access to the bar-b-que deck, and cocktailing/eating on the wide, shady veranda. (Please provide a tea kettle) ☺️

Fantastic Rental on the North Shore

We could not have been more pleased with this vacation rental. The location is ideal--just a short walk across the street to Sunset beach, but also set back from the main road so it feels quiet and private. The grounds are well maintained and provide a peaceful setting for enjoying the grand house. The house was exactly as beautiful as in the pictures. We had no problem staying cool by using fans even in the heat of July. Communication with the host was fast and easy. Can't wait to return!

You Cant Find a Better Place to Gather on the Northshore

Ok, this is the place to bring the family, room for kids, space for adults, and a solid location. The house is equipped with everything you need to relax, cook, and enjoy. The master suite feels like a real master suite with privacy and a private outdoor shower. The yard was amazing with lush jungle vegetation just beyond the manicured landscape. Location, Location, Location... the end of the driveway is the beginning of sunset beach. I can tell you within a two-minute walk you can have a bonzi bowl or sip a delicious coffee. Ted's is 2 minutes drive and sharks cove maybe 5 minutes. Very central location, our property manager Cathy was very responsive and professional from booking through our stay. I couldn't​ have been more satisfied with our stay.

Great location, great house!

This beautiful home was perfect for our family. We had dinner on the lanai each evening, played outdoor games in the spacious yard, and board games around the big table after dark. We walked across to the beach every single night to enjoy an amazing sunset. We loved the North Shore location. Easy access to surf lessons with Uncle Bryan, paddleboarding on the Haleiwa river with a rental from Blue Planet Adventure Co., snorkeling at Three Tables and scuba diving with North Shore Dive Shop at Shark's Cove. We were pleasantly surprised to find beach chairs that we could carry across the street to Sunset Beach with us. We spent a day in the Waimea Valley enjoying botanical gardens, cultural activities and the waterfall. Admission to the Valley came with our package to the incredible Toa Luau, which was a highlight of our trip. Waimea Bay beach was beautiful clear water for swimming. In Haleiwa we enjoyed snow cones at Matsumoto's and a stop at MacNuts to sample macadamia nuts and there happened to be live music. As mentioned by others, Ted's bakery was excellent. Don't miss a stop at Dole when driving back to Honolulu to get some delicious Dole Whip. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms gave our whole party of 8 all the space we needed.

BEWARE-Cathy Shanley is a bully

My first red flag is when she told me not to use the Vrbo app or messaging platform that I was to text or email her directly but in the end I have all the vicious emails she sent me as well as the rude disparaging text that she sent me as well! There was a shower that wasn’t working, the refrigerator that didn’t work as well The rental was spot cleaned. The white curtains in the master bedroom are black with mold. The ceiling is covered with mold, and I have photographs to prove all of the above. We were five days without a refrigerator-the owner forced me to be there for her repairman which let to me missing a day with my family so, finally we checked out early. So, at this point I was fed up I washed all of the linens. I washed the towels I folded everything and the place was in better shape when we left vs when we arrived. The owner continues to argue and only wants to refund us for the nights we didn’t use and not compensate us for the five days without a refrigerator or dealing with the toxic mold in her home. I have emails and texts from her that are vulgar, rude and absolutely unprofessional. The property is located Very close to Sunset Beach the property is spacious however, the property a mold hazard. Feel free to contact me for photos.

This is an absolutely magical place that exceeded all expectations.

I originally had a group of 7 booked for the house, ultimately we had 5 guests. The house is decorated beautifully. We had tons of space. Surprisingly, with 5 showers there was never a shortage of hot water. The outdoor shower attached to the master suite is a must do. All of the rooms had very comfortable beds and bedding. My family loved eating dinner on the big upstairs screened in porch. Each morning we woke up to 4 pigs running across the yard being followed by a chicken. You have to see it to believe it. The master suite felt like sleeping in a lush jungle. There is a huge dressing room/closet in the master suite that is to die for.The amenities were great, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, washer detergent, trash bags, and TP were plentiful.The variety of cookware and cooking utensils was vast. Plenty of dishes and glasses.Lots of good books too. Location, location , location. This property is literally a 2 minute walk to the gorgeous Sunset beach. We had a minor problem and Cathy took care of the problem in a timely manner. Cathy is great to deal with and gave great directions and instructions concerning the house. We will absolutely stay there again. If you are looking for a slice of heaven on earth...this is it. The house has no ac but the breezes keep it mostly cool. At night it was a little warm(avg temp was 84 when we were there) in bedrooms a box fan in each bedroom would remedy that. Overall, best vacation property and grounds we have ever stayed at.

Private Paradise

is perfect location for Northshore experience, a private driveway just far enough off Kam Hwy to escape the road noise. The sounds at night are like you are miles into the jungle but you still hear the ocean waves at Sunset Beach. You get to Walk with boards to the surf , breakfast at Sunrise Shack or The Elephant Truck - no need to drive and park !! So much room everyone can have a spot to relax, beds are great, kitchen is great - we will rent again when we come back !

Stilvolles und geräumiges Kolonialhaus in grossartiger Umgebung

Wunderschönes grosszügiges Haus im kolonial Stil, sehr geräumig, stilvoll eingerichtet mit Liebe zum Detail. Der riesige Garten ist fantastisch, sehr gepflegt und trotzdem natürlich wild! Lädt zum verweilen und relaxen ein. Der Weg zum Strand ist sehr kurz (80 m), die Bucht hat glasklares Wasser, für Erfrischung und Sonnenbad perfekt! Für Familien mit kleinen oder grossen Kindern sehr geeignet. Wir kommen wieder!
