Quiet, friendly and nice countryside

Our hosts, Frederic and Suzanne, were very helpful, friendly and created a good atmosphere. We felt very welcome. The gite has an awesome view to the countryside. It is well equipped and furnished in typical style " provencal". Sitting under the olive trees and enjoying the views and skies was relaxing and exactly what we wanted.

Wonderful stay in Provence!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frederic's Gite! The owner is very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is very well equipped and well laid out. The location was perfect for us as a place to relax and recharge for the next stage of our month long stay in Europe. Roaix is a charming small village and easily accessible and close to a number of other small villages as well as Vaison la Romaine. We would not hesitate to stay here again! Delightful gite, clean and quiet.

The gite is perfect for a couple, as exactly as advertised. Conversion has been to a high quality and done relatively recently. Fixtures and fittings all work well, including a nice powerful shower. Suzanne & Frederick are very welcoming and friendly. A cold bottle of the local rose ready in the fridge was very welcome after a long & hot drive down. Frederick loaned us maps and also talked to the gendarmerie for us when we thought our French wasn't up to it. A secure area was volunteered for us to use to store our pushbikes. We ate almost all the time outdoors under the dappled shade of the apricot and olive trees - and the warm fresh apricots were spectacularly delicious. The area is great for biking, with very mixed terrain and lovely villages to visit as well as the monster that is Mont Ventoux. The TdF went through the area during our holiday and we watch part of two stages. Chris Froome won - he icing on the cake of a superb vacation in a wonderful spot.

A recommander.
