We enjoyed our stay very much. It was close enough to town to walk in and grab a coffee, or let the teenagers go grab an ice cream and explore. We enjoed the backyard, hot tub and chairs.

Wonderful place from inside the outside! We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub and just the space inside was very relaxing and comfortable. Beds were great and we left it in good shape and thanks again for hosting us. Hope to be back someday!

McCall Retreat

The cabin was incredibly nice and cozy, providing a perfect retreat after long days of matches. Everything was in excellent condition, and we didn't encounter any issues during our stay.

Birthday weekend

Spent a long weekend celebrating our sons 27th bday. The house was perfect for the 6 of us adults, we could have definitely fit more people. We had fun playing Cornhole, using the spa and the fire pit was perfect. We even had our dog with us and yard is fully enclosed and big enough for him to wonder around and not get bored. We would definitely book again.

We had a couple older guests and they had a hard time with all the stairs. It was not convenient for them and caused issues, Also, all of the beds were very low to the ground making sleeping and getting in and out of them very uncomfortable. the internet was spotty for 2 days and the disposal in the kitchen did not work properly causing the sink to not drain. the BBQ grill was broken and there was no propane. we had to take time to go to town and get more propane only to find the grill did not work. I made the owner aware of these issues, but he only offered to pay for us to refill the propane. he said he would have the internet checked out, but that was after all the other issues I brought to his attention. we were disappointed that there was no offer of compensation, especially when I told him we were leaving a day early because it was too much to deal with. we would definitely never stay here again.

Response from VrboOwner on 16 Sept, 2026
From the owner: We're glad check-in, communication, and cleanliness worked out well during your stay. I am happy we were able to accommodate requests to check-in early and check-out late. Regarding the grill, we weren't aware of the burner issue beforehand and have since ordered a replacement; the offer to have someone bring a propane replacent was declined and we did reimburse for the refill. On the disposal, our cleaning team, other guests, and the handyman we sent to investigate found no issues before or after your stay, so we're uncertain what occurred. Pertaining the internet, we pay for the highest speed and no buffering issue was brought to our attention until the day of your check-out and I immediately contacted spark light to investigate. The beds are all higher-end models on elevated frames, and our home is a multi-story property with stairs that can't be altered, so we understand that layout wasn't a good fit for the older guests in your group to navigate.

Great Home, Well Equipped, Cozy

Love that this house had things like spices, oil, games, bikes, etc. It helps so much to not have to bring everything yourself! It's a cozy, open home and nice to be able to walk into town. Hot tub was super clean and yard space was awesome. Would love to come again.
